The new iRobot Looj Gutter Cleaning Robot features a high-velocity, four-stage auger for improved debris management. A safer way to clean your gutters, Looj reduces repeated ladder climbing and overreaching from dangerous heights. The detachable handle doubles as a remote control, giving you complete forward and reverse control of the robot. The remote can also control the spin direction of the auger so dislodged gutter debris can be tossed in the correct direction, away from your roof. Looj can also work autonomously, cleaning your gutter all on its own, by just pressing clean.

California residents: see  Proposition 65 information

  • Simple One-Button CLEAN Mode – Just press the CLEAN button and Looj travels along your gutter on its own, sensing and adapting to debris. When Looj is done, simply double-click the reverse button and it comes all the way back to you. Looj can also operate in Manual Mode, allowing you to control its forward and reverse directions. You can also control the auger’s spin direction, so debris is propelled out of the gutter and away from your home
  • Lithium-ion battery – This battery technology equips Looj with a strong power source, giving it the power needed to handle your gutters, including tough clogs, in no time. Lithium-ion battery technology also increases the life of the battery allowing it to still run like new after long winter storage
  • Four-stage auger – The auger uses a 4-stage cleaning process to dislodge and remove gutter debris. First, the auger breaker splits apart clogs so the ejectors can then lift and throw debris from your gutters. Next, the breaker bars continue to split tougher clogs so finally, the sturdy polypropylene sweepers can brush gutters clean. Additionally, a scraper follows behind the auger to provide extra cleaning performance and make sure the path is cleared for the robot to quickly travel back
  • Safety – The Looj 330 reduces repeated ladder climbing and overreaching from dangerous heights to make gutter cleaning a safer task. Plus, the included belt clip keeps your hands free as you climb up and down the ladder and since the detachable handle doubles as a remote control, giving you complete forward and reverse control of the robot, so you only need to put your ladder in one spot
  • Remote control handle with long range – The detachable handle is also the remote control, giving you complete manual or automatic control. The new wireless controller with 2.4 GHz RF has a long communication range of 50 ft., allowing you to drive the robot further along the gutter so you can clean longer stretches of gutter without moving the ladder
  • Low profile design – More compact than previous Looj models, now at just under 2 in. high and 3 in. wide, Looj is able to fit in more gutters, including most K-style aluminum, copper, metal, or vinyl gutters
  • Waterproof design – Wet leaves are often the biggest culprit in clogged gutters. Looj is designed to operate in the wet environment of gutters, which also makes for a quick clean-up; simply spray Looj with a hose when done
  • Customizable – Looj includes 2 sizes of auger ejectors – large and small. This allows you to customize Looj to fit the type of debris that can vary by season or type of gutters found on homes
  • Accessories – Looj comes complete with a belt clip to provide hands-free carrying. The belt clip keeps your hands and legs free for safer ladder climbing. An optional storage case keeps Looj and all its parts and accessories safe and protected during storage and allows for easy handling to and from the job site (available for purchase). Additional ejector styles are also available for purchase in the Looj Accessory Kit for maximum customization of the auger. You can be ready to tackle most any gutter condition with the purchase of all additional accessories

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Not worth the money After charging the battery it cleaned about 35 feet of gutter and stopped. Had to get on the roof to get it out of the gutter and clean the rest of it by hand. Don't waste your money on it. January 16, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Robot It was great! I've long been a fan of robotics, and this task is great for one! July 15, 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Wanted to be a fan.... I never write reviews, even though I do rely on them quite a bit before I buy something online. I this case I felt like I should pay it forward. Bottom line was that I did a lot of research. I knew going in that it was a gamble on whether or not it would work....and it didn't. Not even close. In my case, my gutters are pretty wide open but they are angled and do have a small lip/reveal. My leaves were bone dry and the looj just drove right through. It punched a hole and flapped around but didn't eject. Instead, it just mounded up. The gutters were full in the area I tested, but I had cleaned it by hand 3 weeks prior - so it is not like it was packed. I played around with it for about 30 minutes on a 10 foot section. I had bought the accessory kit and none of the flappers were any bigger than the one that came stock. I gave it a 50/50 chance in my mind prior to purchasing but knew HD had a good return policy...this one is definitely going back. Had really high hopes, because I hate cleaning the gutters. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by It Works! Needs replaceable brush bristles though. Gutter cleaning July 23, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Did not work for us so we returned it. The reason for the purchase was to eliminate having to climb up and down a ladder and move it all around the house. We had to stand on the ladder the entire time to watch the Looj was in the gutter in case it flipped over or flipped out of the gutter or just stopped after getting stuck and It had a difficult time cleaning leaves out of a wet gutter. I was able to clean six feet of gutter with the Looj in the time it took my husband to clean all the gutters around the house (over 300 feet) The Looj did not save us time or hard work with moving the ladder. The customer service was exceptional when I called to return the Looj. We have a Roomba 880 and LOVE it. Highly recommend the Roomba! December 28, 2014
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Gives up too easily The Looj gives up too easily! 99% of the time it will think that it is hopelessly stuck when it is not. When it thinks it is stuck, it goes into "red mode" where it will not respond to the remote control at all! You cannot tell it to move and you cannot tell it to clean. You have to go and fetch it yourself and hit the power button on the side of the Looj unit make it reset. Ultimately you end up going into full manual mode where you basically double-click the forward button and hold it down until the remote control blinks yellow. When it blinks yellow it means that the Looj has run into more debris than it can handle. Let go and wait a couple seconds. Then put it in reverse for a few seconds. If you don't get any yellow then switch back to forward and repeat. If you get a yellow blink on the remote control, it's very important to stop sending commands to the robot. Otherwise you could risk it going into "red mode" and then you'll have to go and fetch it. Pressing the "clean" button is a sure way to get your Looj to go into "red mode" so I never use it and I drive the Looj manually from the remote. Which means sitting there baby-sitting the robot while it cleans. In my opinion, it's a serious software problem... A robot should never just go into a mode where it decides to completely ignore the remote control. Very annoying.. Overall, it's still better than cleaning gutters manually. It just takes a bit of learning how to operate it well. May 25, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Totally Useless! Had no torque, could not clean a minimal amount of debris. Battery died after twenty feet of gutter April 29, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by I love cleaning gutters now! I tried this out to clean my gutters last night and it was GREAT! Just popped it in my very messy gutters, then I climbed back down the ladder before I started it. Just hit the clean button and watched things fly. My kids had a lot of fun just watching things flying out of the gutter as it made it's way down. After it finished cleaning, mainly because my gutters were so messy, it was a little tough to get the handle re-attached because of debris though. That wasn't a huge issue. Product suggestion: Add a solar panel to charge the battery and let me schedule this to run once a month. I'll just get one for each gutter and never think about it again. :-) September 24, 2012
