Answer:
It senses a large drop. I have a sunken living room and when it's above level it won't fall. To get it down I have to pick it up and move it. It also includes a part that stops it from going where you don't want it to.

Answer:
Yes, in Lighthouse mode, the Virtual Wall Lighthouse helps Roomba navigate
around your home and allows Roomba to clean room-to-room. Roomba
will clean the room it starts in, navigate to the next room, and then clean
the second room. When Roomba has completed cleaning, it will use the
Lighthouse to navigate back to the Home Base for recharging.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by ROOMBA 650 Vacuum Great gift for the Mrs., she wanted something like this but I don't think we expected it to do such a good job, it really is AWESOME!!! to come home to a clean floor with our Dog leaving hair and stuffed animal stuffing everywhere that e used to have to find and pick up LOVE IT! Thank You Home Depot for delivering in time for her Birthday, My Home Depot is the Go-To for everything lately, sometimes I think they'll call me and make sure I'm okay if I didn't stop there over the weekend - LOVE that place July 19, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great product for removing pet hair and dust. This is a great help with the housework. Pick up the cords and small items, and it will do the work. Every time I empty the dirt out I am amazed at the amount of hair it has found and I didn't think my house is that dirty. What a great robot to have around. June 24, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent product! Love it.. I've been questioning myself if it worth the money for this product. And my answer is YES. May 24, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by My wife Gail Loves her Roomba 650 Robotic Vacuum We really like the job that the 650 vacuum does for us. We have all wood floors in our house. My wife Gail is an animal foster so we have 6 dogs & 4 cats & 1 farrett in our house. Gails new vacuum does a great job scooping up all for animal hair. We have 1800 feet of area the house that the 650 vacuums sweeps up 3 times a week. It really does a Great job. My wife usually has to empty out the catch all compartment 2 to 3 times when the 650 vacuums through the house. Do Not be afraid of the price of the 650 Roombe - the unit is worth the money. I also bought a 3 year warranty - that way if any thing does go wrong it will the 650 it be repaired or replaced. Don't hold back - buy one and make wife Very happy. It is truly worth the money. Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Fails in its primary purpose--to clean pet hair This model Roomba is sold as suitable for dealing with pet hair. Unfortunately, it's not suitable for that purpose. We have two dogs, and both shed. This device captures some of their hair, but it makes long, deep piles of animal hair at the edges of every rug it encounters. We could of course take the rugs off the floor, but then we'd have to vacuum those separately, which is not what we had in mind when we bought this device. Either way, extra vacuuming with a more-traditional vacuum cleaner is necessary to finish the job; need I repeat that this is not what we had in mind? It's an acceptable device for general purpose vacuuming, but if you have a pet, forget it. February 27, 2016
