I used this on my custom cabinet that I built. They weren't able to cut it in the store I went to which wasn't the end of the world. I cut it myself at home which was easy to do with saw guides. The material itself was very nice and looks great. Installing and filing down the end caps wasn't difficult at all either. I didn't have a flat iron so I used a heat gun that did the job just fine with a piece of 2 x 4 to press against it to get it flat against the MDF. I'm very happy with this purchase!

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Serena Wow we love our new bathroom!
We bought this for a remodel of a 1972 lake house. We used vessel sink. We bought all new blades and didn't experience chipping. The only problem we had was with the side edge it glued on great with iron. But boy did it take us a while to file down top edge. We are novice installers and did wear down one tiny area doing the edge. We used a Sharpee and made a black dot. Can't even tell.

Recommend with reservations. Get ready for a possibly warped counter top. Check for curvature.
When I aligned the backsplash with my level line on the wall, it sagged almost 1/4" in the middle. I checked it front to back and it also sagged varying amounts. Probably due to the heat forming so when the laminate cools, it shrinks and pulls the ends and front and back into a slight curve. I figured it wouldn't be a big problem when mounted, but it doesn't inspire confidence in the quality of the top.
I needed to put the iron-on end caps on before the top was installed due to tight quarters. Even though they are made oversize, on one end it was impossible to make the end cap cover all parts of the particleboard end of the countertop since the top was so bowed front to back. I chose to make it miss on a lower corner and would cover it.with caulk. The top corners just make it and the bottom middle just made it. The other end cap just barely covered it.

We like the appearance if the laminate and the vessel sink. The two sisters from the kitchen area are delightful to work with. Very helpful and an asset to your store.

I am delighted with the way this countertop ties together my new stainless appliances, dark brown painted cabinets, and pinkish/beige tile floor. The color tone is cooler than a similar product at a competitor. This replaced a dark countertop, and I considered the darker color from HD, but really wanted something that would brighten our tiny kitchen. Love this and my empire red stand mixer looks awesome on it. Hubby cut it easily after viewing a couple of videos and DIY blogs. There was a tiny bit of chipping so when we do the 10Ft piece, we will invest in the finer tooth circular saw blade. We will also treat the back of that piece, which will hold the sink and top the dishwasher, to protect from water. Best, for my small kitchen this allows us to keep the entire makeover (excluding appliances) to under $500 including new saw blade.
