This corner cabinet with lazy susan is built the way it is simply for ergonomics. All corner cabinets are a waste of space due to the fact that the average arm cannot reach in far enough to retrieve product from the back corner. The cabinet builders have remedied this problem by decreasing the depth and dead space. This decreased depth also helps with out of square corners which occur in every home I have ever worked in. There is absolutely nothing wrong with this cabinet or it's design, the DIYer just needs more education.

This cabinet actually has the right sizing but labeled wrong. This is a 36" Lazy Susan but the dimensions of the actual box of the cabinet is 28". This has to be pulled out from the wall for it to work properly, as a 36" cabinet. Cabinet sizes come in 3" increments. 28 isn't a proper size for cabinets. Just keep this in mind when purchasing

as my remodelers did the work on my kitchen they said that the lazy suzan was their favorite one of them said that they are thinking abt getting one for their home. I loved the way that it fits, no it doesnt not fit back into a corner that is not how it it is built you would want to align the front of your cabnets. If you want it to fit snugly into a corner or if you have an island my suggestion would be to have it custom built or to modify this one. It does exactly what it is suppose to do for the price and I could not ask for a better corner unit

Nice piece, works great. Read the specs people, it "fits" in a 36 x 36 space, not "takes up 36 x 36". it says 16.8" depth so it did have a space in back & had to put a small frame in. no big deal considering the amount of time we spent on the rest of the kitchen

Sorry, but I just have to jump in here. You get what you pay for and people complain too much about product specs when they are not reading the product specs correctly at all. There is no mis-representation here at all.
These are affordable, unfinished pieces. Not high end, out of reach cabinets folks. As my daughter says to the kids "you get what you get and you don't get upset".
I have no money but I need them, I will use them until my ship comes in. Thanks Home Depot.

As far as the cabinet overall it is well made for the money, and the Lazy Susan is for sure a plus. Now, it will NOT line up to the wall. It can not be put in first, and has to be adjusted to fit. This caused a huge argument with my husband. lol It should go all the way to the back to the wall, but doesn't, and that blows a man away. If you are patient, and put it in the spot then arrange it, "after" the others are in it will work. But, with about 7 inches of empty space left to the wall. So, you have to frame that in for counter-tops. It did work out fine, but there should be more details about the product. It is a large piece, just not 24 inches deep. Yet, it has a huge amount of storage, as if a 36X36 cabinet. So please ladies inform your husbands with a clerk, to explain, or you will have a VERY angry man. He will not take your word until he reads these reviews. It will be okay, and just needs adjusting. The sun will come out tomorrow, and it will rain again one day. So, breathe deep and dive in. :)

The only hard wood is the door and front trim, everything else is a cheap particle board. The hardwood panels in the doors rattle around and the trim is so roughly cut that some areas could not be sanded out and had to be filled. When picking them up, we had to sift through multiple cabinets in order to find one that was not beaten or busted. Even after that, we got them home to find some of the pieces such as the back mounting rails were missing. My advice is to buy something else, but if you do go with them, CAREFULLY inspect every one. We did our entire kitchen in them so time will tell if they hold up but we are not expecting much.

Just copied this right from another review because it's totally true...
The dimensions listed as 24" deep are totally incorrect, as the item measures only 18" deep...This means the back of the unit is some six (6) inches shorter than a standard 24" floor cabinet depth. If the back of this cabinet is exposed, you will need to frame out to affix any additional decorative panel. Worse still, you cannot start your installation, as recommended, from a corner, as the unit needs to sit some six inches off of the wall,(what are you supposed to affix this to ?) to align the front of the cabinet with the other standard 24" deep cabinets. What alerted me was the term "fits inside a 36 x 36 space" and the lack of nomimal dimensions on the packaging and the Home Depot racking label. . Pull one out from the rack and check before you buy...BUYER BEWARE !!!!!!!! Some designer simply got this wrong, big time
