Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Bought during cabinet sale so it was a good value The front of the cabinet is good quality oak, but the rest of the cabinet is cheaply made. I actually bought this cabinet to use it as an island for my kitchen. I knew that I would have to add side and back panels but plastic corners were used inside to hold the cabinet together so I had to replace these as well. All in all I had to do a lot of reinforcing of the original cabinet to make it sturdy enough to last a long time. Be careful transporting it from the store since it might easily break apart. The actual drawer itself also had to be reinforced since it was about to fall apart just by me removing it from the rails. April 1, 2014
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by NOT A SINK BASE! I ordered this product after talking online with the Home Depot Live Chat "expert", who assured me that there was NOT a drawer at the top, but that this could be used as a sink base - WRONG! Luckily, my contractor was able to remove the drawer and glue the drawer front on, so that I could use this as a sink base (the other sink bases were not available in this width). Otherwise, I would recommend this as a regular base cabinet - seems durable. However, DO NOT order these online to pick up in the store! I had to return two doors that had marks on them that didn't stain evenly. Go to the store and pick them out yourself to make sure they aren't scratched or dented. July 30, 2014
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by need some work after you get them. You will have to sand these there is no doubt to that. After about 5 hours of sanding the 3 lowers and one upper I bought looked good. They dont seem to take polyshade very well. All it would do for me on these cabinets is glob up. Otherwise not a bad cabinet for the price and if you dont mind a little work. February 25, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Problem with 30" drawer Cabinet okay but drawer does not open smoothly at all. Drawer slides don't seem sturdy enough for a large drawer. I am not sure how to remedy situation as I have already painted the cabinet. August 20, 2014
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by it is what i wanted my rating is based on base cabinets side by side, this would never be excellent because it is an entry level cabinet. With that said it is what I wanted, and based on that most people would rate it higher. The only item that I wished was better is the roughness of the oak. The doors drawers and frame took a long time sanding prior to painting. Note-if you do not sand it well, it will show when painted. July 26, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Very good product For the price you cannot go wrong with these cabinets. I installed 22 cabinets in my kitchen and they look great. I have had many compliments on the design and how nice everything looks. The drawers pull nice. The doors have not warped (after 4 years) and everythig functions as it should. I will be doing my Brothers kitchen next and will be using these same cabinets. February 24, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by outstanding product This product would be rated higher if the same person didnt leave 2 bad reviews. I find this cabnet to be excellent for the price I am remodeling my whole kitchen and got an estimate of around $8000, so i decited to just do it myself and bout most of the cabinetry myself and have spent (on 3 pieces) less than $405 including tax. I purchased the lazy suzan corner cabnet with this and they fit togehter perfectly im not even finished with my kitchen and already im getting compliments. it solid , sturdy, & reliable all for a great price November 17, 2012
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Value for Price I once owned a large kitchen cabinet manufacturing facility. If you want to save a LOT of money on cabinets, buy unfinished from Home Depot. I got mine for a rental house at 20% off and I had another 10% off coupon. Less than a grand did my whole kitchen. NOTE: you must be committed to finishing them properly or you will have a mess on your hands. Another reviewer talked about blems, well, they unfinished, and you need to sort out and repair and prepare before you finish. 1) Sand, 2) Carefully stain and allow plenty of time to dry, and 3) finish with a high quality finish, spraying if possible. You will need to removed the drawers and doors. I get the WOW when people walk into my $15,000 rental house, they think I spend $20 grand on the kitchen, but with clearance countertops from HD it only looks like I paid a bunch. January 23, 2013
