A: Scotts Turf Builder Southern Lawn Fertilizer for Southern Grass will not inhibit seed germination, and therefore can technically be applied anytime before or after seeding/sodding the lawn, it does not help it as much as Scotts Starter Lawn Food which contains phosphorus.
