Customer Reviews

Poly Drip 1/2 in. x 1,000 ft. Drip Watering Hose is rated 2.8 out of 5 by 4.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from BEWARE: Narrow OD of .62 TOO SMALL for most couplings I purchased this hose online, but went to my local Home Depot to buy the fittings. The fittings carried by HD (apparently not Raindrip) were too large for this hose. Checking online, most fittings are sized for a larger OD (outside diameter), with ODs of 0.63 to 0.71. This hose wall must be thinner than most. Not happy at all, because now my project is stopped until I can find "genuine" Raindrip fittings.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from I find it VERY HARD to insert couplers into the drip hose when making connections I think you need to review the couplers your company sells to make them more compatible to the hose material.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from UV proof thin wall Rain Drip 1/2" hose works great Yes this is rain drip hose so non rain drip 1/2" tube fittings are big. Thats great, a litttle WD and a good push on to a 1/2" barb and you are done. no clamp, no crimp, no adjust, no compression nuts, etc. Now if you have hand trouble I suggest the rain drip fittings. Great for solar heater and sump pump. I ran the main 1" line in insulated PVC and used PVC 1" x 1/2" x 1" T-fittings for taps You can use threaded T's with 1/2" barb x threaded or 1/2" x 3/4" barb to barb and just drop some glue on the 3/4 barb and set into 1/2" Tee with firm push or light hammer tap.. Ten 100' foot runs, water enters cold and returns warm. Cheap simple efficient. Note this hose likes to crimp so use large bends for what ever you are planning. Once crimped will easily recrimp.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Cheapest hose, odd size This was the best value I could find for bringing water to my pastures. The hose is an odd size though and I had a lot of trouble finding any fittings for it. I had to go to a specialty irrigation supply company. Now that it is set up, I think it will last a long time.
