The Cadet Register Plus 14 in. x 7-3/8 in. Multi-Watt Fan-Forced Wall Heater has a clean, low-profile design and quiet operation for comfortable, wall-mounted electric heat. It features a commercial-grade steel element for durability and is designed for optimal warm-air circulation at any heat setting. Comes packaged with a wall can and white grille. A wall-mount thermostat is required.

  • Commercial grade steel element
  • Squirrel cage blower provides increased airflow, allowing for lower surface temperatures and quiet operation
  • Can be installed with mounting legs horizontally in wall cavity or vertically on sill plate to minimize installation time

CUSTOMER REVIEWS

Rated 4.7 out of 5 by 15 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Sturdy construction, quiet, and easy to install I installed this item on a remodel of our master bedroom. We had not installed the new sheet rock to it was easy for me to drill into the basement and run a new power cable into a double pole 20 amp breaker, which made the installation very quick on my end. I did set the heater up on two blocks to bring it up higher off the floor, almost a foot and a half. Wiring was simple, and the design will allow you to replace the heater if it goes out with minimal effort (no cutting of drywall). No sharp edges and very sturdy housing. It is very quiet, and when I turned it on for testing, it heats quickly. I imagine with the drywall around it, the noise it generates will be barely noticeable. Make sure you use a 220/240 thermostat for this product. March 25, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Purchase! This is a great electric wall heater! It is also very quiet. I did not use the cover plate that came with it, because it was too small for the slot in my wall. I wanted to keep the old one anyway so it would match my other wall heaters. I purchased a Cadet thermostat which I did not need because this wall heater works just fine with my Dimplex one. (I didn't purchase a Dimplex wall heater because I couldn't find any that were the same size/kind as the one I had. I chose Cadet because it had good reviews here on the Home Depot site.) I had a professional handyman install it for me. We had to call Cadet for some questions, and they answered right away. It is also made in the USA in Washington state! I am very happy with this wall heater, and will purchase it again when my other wall heaters need to be replaced. October 3, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Remodeling Porduct After remodeling 2 baths using this Cadet heater as a replacement for old electric baseboard I decided it would be just perfect for my kitchen remodeling job coming up. Quiet operation and easy installation only makes it even better for a warm toasty bath. Perfect for solving the problem of not being able to use floor space in front of electric baseboard, uses only approximately 1 foot of wall space. I'd recommend this heater to anyone. If you're not comfortable working with electric, use a qualified electrician. October 23, 2006
Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent classy solution for my situation My 35 year old La Jolla CA townhouse had radiant ceiling heat. Energy hog, poor heat distribution, potential fire hazard. The Cadet Register plus is a great substitute. Don't need to leave it on all day like the radiant heat. Can come home turn it on and living area feels warm. I have a 240 volt system so the 3 wattage choices of the RMC 162 are perfect. I installed 3 Register Plus units. Looks almost like a central forced air system. Quiet. Good heat distribution. A quality product, even the housing is quality, not cheap galvanized steel, no sharp edges. I installed just below ceiling level so as not to limit furniture placement in my 1100 sq. ft. townhouse. Granted I live in a mild climate, however these units are ideal and they are made in the USA! June 26, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Good Product; Quiet; Easy to Install This heater was eay to install and is a great help in supplementing forced air in a two-family home. The 240V version is quieter than the 120 - I installed one of each because I used an existing circuit on the 120. February 21, 2012
