Great door to replace old hollow bedroom doors. Installation requires a little carpentry knowledge, but overall fairly simple. Looks great stained. Have had no issues with these doors.

Rated 3 out of 5Â by charlie VENEER over fingerjoint solid pine
I had to cut down door 1" to fit an odd size jamb in an old house. Found out door was made of fingerjointed pine inside with a pine veneer. So not good to stain and finish if you have to cut it.

I've bought 5 of these doors, all store pickup. One had been cut to be 79" long (why?). Luckily, I noticed this when loading it and immediately returned it.
The last had delamination of the veneer and the center divider is not straight. Unfortunately, I wasted several hundred dollars of my time and a lot of glue and plastic wood trying to salvage this one. The final straw is that a bubble in the veneer appeared when I applied the first coat of primer - it's going back.
If you're shopping for one, take a tape along. Measure the length of the door (should be 80"). Measure the distance between each edge of the door and the edge of the center divider at the top and bottom of each of the three sections. Make sure they're very close to the same dimension. And, of course, sight along the door on both long edges to make sure it's straight. I've been doing that and rejected a few.
On the plus side, Home Depot's return department has always treated me well. Hope they do so on this one.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by peifully good quality for price
This is the first of 7 identical doors we are installing and we are pleased with the doors, The finish and stain we used look good and uniform unlike on some reasonably priced doors where the wood finish is uneven and the stain goes on badly. The stain and finish went on evenly and looks great. The doors are well made and durable.

Rated 4 out of 5Â by Jeff Great door, but knots near handle locations
The door met my needs...Cheap, solid wood, in stock. However, while I was drilling the hole for the door lock mechanism, I ran right into a knot that sent my holesaw through the side laminate. It will glue up fine, but the quality could have been better.
