I replaced an older model and am very pleased with the performance. Installation and setup was a breeze.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by BoilerBob Nice product - easy to install
I had a Waterboss in another house and it worked great. When I bought a new house, I decided to stick with Waterboss again. So far it has been just as good as the other unit.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by buddy100 Love it
We love this softener. I purchased one approx. 20 years ago to help with our well at the time. It worked excellent, we sold that home and I just recently needed another. I purchased this one and it is even better than ever. It has been installed about a month now and I may be able to add a bag of salt pellets. I have it set on water miser and on demand. We live in an area where it has really hard water and this does an excellent job!!!! No regrets and highly recommend this softener!!!

I have owned this for over 8 years-----I have had to call Waterboss up more then 5 of those years for various service issues. They were very good at answering my questions and helping me solve the issues----However, I think that 5 out of 8 years is not good. The last time that I called them, they told me that I would have to replace the resin bed at a cost of over $300--------I think not!!!!------I have another water softner in another house that I have had for around 30 years and have had very few issues. I won't go back to Waterboss for a replacement.

Rated 1 out of 5Â by Jason Have to tinker with it often and parts went out
I wish I never bought this water softner. The softner does a good job; however, you have to unscrew different parts every 4-5 months to keep it working. This consists of taking screws out and taking a part off to lubricate a plunger. They do not give guidance on what to lubricate the plunger with. I used valve grease and it took "the protective coating" off. Cost for a new one $30 plus shipping. The control pannel stopped working after 4 years. Cost-over $100 plus shipping. Oh- don't forget to take more screws and parts off to clean the screen filter. Also, they warn that a "salt bridge" can occurr- it did and it was a pain to correct. Good luck if you buy one...
