CUSTOMER REVIEWS

Rated 3 out of 5 by 6 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Exactly what i needed... bad details in description Exactly what I needed... one 3-way and one single pole in a single gang box. The details of this product on the web page is misleading. Makes one believe it's two 3-way rockers. Specifications need to be updated. January 16, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by Not dual 3-Way The description is misleading. This is really a "Single Pole and 3-Way Switch" search the model number and read the documentation. You can only make one 3-way and one single pole with this product. I'm sure the switch is fine if that is your goal, but it didn't work for me. August 28, 2012
Rated 1 out of 5 by Misleading info this is really single pole and 3-way switch. It is not dual 3 way switch which is what i needed. Not enough information . Now i will need to return it back and get right one. July 7, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by looks nice, problem with install This pair of switches looks and feels exactly like what I needed. However, I experienced trouble with the installation. I needed each of the switches to control two different circuits with different power sources. That meant I needed to break off the tab connecting the two power lugs. When I tried to do that, I found the tab was *much* stronger than those I've ever seen on similar switches. In fact, the end of the tab broke off, leaving the lugs connected by a thinner strip than before. I tried to use wire cutters to cut the remaining part. After I thought I had cut off enough, my continuity meter told me they were still connected. My last resort was to *disassemble* the switch, cut off the remaining parts of the tab that were hidden under the body of the switch, then painstakingly reassemble the switch. In the end, it turned out well, but it was extremely frustrating to be unable to break that tab off. My workaround took a lot longer than it should have. The installation should have been simpler. I don't know why Leviton made it so difficult. Maybe it's supposed to be strong enough to endure combat conditions? February 21, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by Nice, but 2 things... First, we really like the design. We have had one for a while and I wish I knew how long because I have had to replace it twice - it stopped working, meaning the light flickered or sometimes stayed on when the switched was pressed hard enough. So that's strike one. Strike two is that I didn't want a 3-way but my HD didn't have the one I needed in stalk...repeatedly...seriously?... expect in almond. Anyway, the instructions on the box (and identical on Leviton site) don't bother to say to remove the metal/copper tab above the ground in order to separate the switches. Realizing this, one has to struggle and mangle the thing to break it off, then it breaks above the base - look closely and you will see the two sides are connected and you have to get it break off at the base. I got it done and it works, but I don't know for how long. Ultimately, I want to enlarge the box and put a dimmer and then a fan switch side-by-side, but that will have to wait until summer.
