CUSTOMER REVIEWS

Rated 3.7 out of 5 by 67 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Little Pump! This pump is extremely useful! We have basements (2) that tend to flood in heavy rain, but the regular sump pumps can never get the last 3-4 inches out. (High water table/shallow sumps) This little pump moves an amazing amount of water through simple 3/4" garden hose and keeps going down to 1/4" just as advertised. Do not let it run dry as it hurts the pump. You also need to remember- NO check valve so you need to keep outlet end of hose out of the flood waters. Lastly, if you let it suck air you must loosen hose at pump with motor running and submerged to "burp it"" so the water will flow full force again after the water comes back up. (no air bleed in output fitting) September 12, 2011
Rated 2 out of 5 by CHECK OPERATION BEFORE YOU ACTUALLY NEED IT. I HAVE PURCHASED FOUR (4) PUMPS IN TOTAL, THE FIRST ONE WORKED GREAT THIS WAS JUST AFTER KATRINA . WHEN IT STOPPED WORKING I PURHASE TWO (2) MORE, ONE FOR MYSELF AND ONE FOR MY SON IN LAFAYETTE, LA. MY PUMP DID NOT WORK AT ALL, BUT LIKE THE FOOL I AM I DID NOT TEST IT AFTER I PURCHASED IT, SO I RECENTLY PURCHASED ANOTHER ONE IT'S FINE BUT IT DOES NOT WORK ANY WAY NEAR THE SAME AS MY FIRST PUMP FROM 2005. I DID ASK MY SON TO TEST HIS PUMP JUST TO MAKE SURE IT WORKS AND HE HAS TESTED IT BUT HE ADMITS ITS RATHER POOR COMPARED TO THE INSTRUCTIONS AND OUT PUT ON THE CARTON. EVERY OTHER PUMP JUST ISN'T WANT I CAN USE TO PUMP MY PATIO DURING AND AFTER A HARD RAIN, THE FIRST ONE WAS JUST GREAT BUT THE NEWER ONES JUST DON'T COMPARE. October 21, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Worked Fine to Drain Pool Bought this pump to drain my 15000 gal in ground pool. The city I live in won't allow draining into the street so i had to drain into my sewer clean out about 75 ft from the pool. The city website advised to drain at no more than 7gpm to prevent backup into the house. I should have bought a more powerful pump because by the time the pump pulled the water from 6 ft down and pumped it 75ft, it looked like less than 7gpm to me coming out of the hose. It took over two days to drain the pool. I had the time to wait so it wasn't a big deal for me. If you want to drain more quickly at that depth and distance, I would buy a more powerful submersible pump, but keep in mind they are much more expensive. March 11, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Flooding life saver selected product for low submersibility of 1/2" and ease of allowing use of standard garden hose. October 14, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by Submersible utility pump This product did not work for me I has returned it and got another one exactly the same and it still didn't work for some reason. September 26, 2014
