If you have a litter box, definitely look into using this. I have one in my car, another in the bathroom, and this one in the litter box. It keeps the smells in, so you don't have to deal with them. I like having one in my car; by the time I get back from work, my car doesn't smell from any take out food, or from my friends' cigarettes. Definitely recommend for this purpose. As far as the flavor, I don't smell the berries unless I get close to it, but as long as it takes out the smells, I'm happy! It also has a clip on it so you can hang it, if you'd like! 60 days lasting, not bad for the price! Just set it down, take off the sticker, and leave it!

Rated 3 out of 5Â by rfpnc1 Plain Jane but Effective
The Odor Genie is a "plain Jane" product, but it does deliver a very strong scent. The product is contained in a dull gray container that is not particularly attractive. However, we used it in our home near where our kitty litter pans are kept and the scent was pleasant and helped mask any odors from the litter. The wild berry scent is appealing, but was too strong for my daughter to tolerate when we tried it in our living room. The container does feature a plastic loop that allows you to hang the product rather than just set it out, which was very helpful.

This product is easy to use, just peel off the top label, place it in the location of your choice, where you notice an odor. That's it, your done. Our laundry room, with a small toilet closet was our location of choice. Now we say, what odor?

This is a good product for certain applications.
It seems to work for areas with a "continuous" smell. By continuous I mean areas that have a certain foul smell at all times such as near a litter box or something like that. But it does not make much of a difference in areas where you get an occasional smell such as in the kitchen or bathroom, since it takes too long for the product to react to the smell and try to eliminate it. I would still use the normal air freshener for such areas to mask the smell.
