Rated 2 out of 5Â by eliot100 For use only if wider area needs to be covered.
This product was used around the top edge of a bathtub/shower surround, not an area that was normally wet. It did not stick to the surface of the fiberglass surround. Because I needed to cover a wide strip after removing old molding, regular grouting was insufficient. Due to this product lack of adhesion to the surface of the surround, I wound up lifting the loose edge and applying standard silicon grout where this product's grout had failed. In a typical application, it would probably fail even faster than the 2 days it lasted in a slightly damp area.

Rated 1 out of 5Â by DIYer Extremely poor glue - Go off after a couple of hours - Waste of Money and time
Give one star only because no way to give a zero or negative star. This product is a good design idea. But the quality of glue was so poor that the strip easily went off in just a couple of hours. I was applying this to cover the seam of my wall panels, by no means on any wet or moisture surface. Too poor product for the price!! Surprised how Homedepot could approve this product?!!

Rated 3 out of 5Â by Dianne Easy to use
I'm only giving it a 3* since it didn't stick to part of the area where I used it. Whole area was clean and dry the day before purchase, however I have spots from the time of installation that didn't stick to the surfaces.
Was very easy to install, I'm leaving it for now and placed items on the areas not sticking and avoiding water contact to those areas.
If it doesn't grasp at some point I'll go with regular sealing.

Do not waste your time with this stuff. Sounds great and even looks ok when first applied. But after a few weeks it peels of the wall and then the water starts pouring inside the wall.

The only reason this has 1 star is because it wouldn't let me give it no stars. There is nothing "Magic" about this product. After all the preparation the stuff is coming off the wall after 1 day. The adhesive does not go all the way to the top edge of the product. There are small gaps where the grout lines are in the tile because of this. This allows water to get into the void, where the glue stops and the top ends, and create a channel for the water to run onto your floor. Thought I would save myself time by using this turns out NOT. Glad I saved the quarter round ceramic trim tiles because they are going back on.
