is a nice toilet bowl but unfortunately you must by the tank separately
and Home Depot does not sell the tank. What good is a bowl without a
tank I ask?

Rated 5 out of 5Â by srieves We just built a large home doing much of the work ourselves. We have 4 toilets (3 different kinds). This one was the most reasonably priced and is superior in function. It is very quite, uses little water and is easy to clean. Had we purchased this one first they would all be American Standard.

My dad used to clog his 1990's low flow Kohler on a daily basis. My mom got fed up and told me to get a new toilet immediately. I was going to get a Kohler Class 5 because that's what I was getting for an addition/renovation project but Home Depot had a rating chart that indicated this was a better toilet so I tried it.
The tank and bowl are packaged together in the store. I picked one up and a friend installed it the next day. He said it was very easy to work with.
My dad has dementia and can't talk. When he sat on this the first time he smiled and nodded, then leaned back and closed his eyes as if to say 'ah yes' and took a snooze. It was his way of saying it was very comfortable.
It took 6 months before he clogged the Champion4 and they didn't even need the plunger. They just had to
flush about 3 times.
It has a powerful bowl cleaning flush that rinses the entire bowl the first time you flush. First there's a powerful 'burp' to dislodge everything followed by a forceful swish around the entire bowl.
I got 4 Kohler toilets with the Class 5 flush a short time later and they don't come close to the flushing and cleaning power of the Champion4.

On one hand, this works, it flushes and you can throw away the plunger. However we have three and they all have had qualty problems. Two came in so that they are not level because they are unevenly made. All have had to have a seal replaced within two years. The seal is not generally available locally but we got some from American Standard for free. One had flushing problems because the valve did lift until I readjusted the chain which has also failed.
To summarize, if you do not mind some quality problems, this flushes anything, it also saves water when the seals work.

This is a great toilet, uses less water than the old ones, flushes well with only one flush and the extra height is great especially if like me ,you are getting older. Much easier on the back and legs. We liked this model so much that when we needed a toilet for a second bath remodel we bought another.
