Good quality, but not easy to install. Now that it is up I'm very happy with it.

Shower rod was installed into ceramic tile by a professional. It is rock-solid and reliable.

I looked at a lot of shower curtain rods to find an elegant, heavy-duty chrome 72" rod without an extension, so that the rings could glide easily without getting stuck on a transition between sides of an extended bar. I had a hard time finding a smooth rod of that length. Aesthetics were important too. This rod gave me exactly what I was looking for and was worth the extra cost.

Well thought out and easy to install for anyone with the right tools and the will to do it right. I would not recommend this to a first timer or inexperienced do-it-yourselfer. Rod does come in two pieces but joins seamlessly. I cut mine to length for a non standard opening. No instructions provided and the fasteners are for drywall application only (drywall expansion type). If mounting directly to tile you will need a carbide spade bit and plastic anchors for screws.

Rated 4 out of 5Â by GoodRod A nice addition to the appearance of the bathroom
This is a nice and attractive step up from the old tension rod that was in the space. The new rod looks nice and compliments the other fixtures aleady in place. I'm not handy on installation, so I had our maintanance man do the installation. The rod was installed a few weeks ago and works well in the space.
