Rated 5 out of 5Â by CDuhon Beautiful flooring!
I now have installed this wood flooring in my living room, dining room, kitchen and den and I LOVE it! I installed it in 2 rooms in summer of 2010 and just finished installing it in the other 2 rooms this spring 2012. It is excellent quality especially for the price! We installed it ourselves and found it great to work with. I had only installed unfinished wood flooring before, but quickly fell in love with the pre-finished oak. I read that some people had trouble with the quality of recent lots of the wood. I found that the cases I bought in 2012 were actually better than those bought in 2010. The color was the same, but there was definately more longer boards this time. The waste with this flooring was very minimal. I highly recommend this product!

Rated 3 out of 5Â by bcb1 Unbeatable price. Nice looking floor. Dings/Dents easily from pet traffic.
We installed this in our bedroom about 2 years ago. For the price (under $1000) it's an outstanding value. It cost about the same as a low to mid grade of carpet.
We love the look. Note, this grade is what I'd call a mixture of #1 and #2 wood - which means you get a mix of fairly clear wood with some pieces that have knots, dark spots, etc. If you want a floor that is basically all clear (no knots or spots) then you'd need to buy "select" grade, which of course is far more expensive.
It was reasonably easy to install with a pneumatic flooring nailer and the help of a friend with some previous flooring experience. Not too many unusable pieces.
The disadvantage is that the floor dings & dents fairly easily from normal foot traffic and especially from pet traffic. It's not really scratched, it's just that when bright light hits the floor at a certain angle, you can really see all the marks and imperfections - "dings". This is a very high gloss floor so the imperfections show up pretty easily.
I can't really complain...the floor still looks nice even with the minor imperfections from the pet traffic. And after all it is a floor, it's meant to be used and walked on.
I would imagine that when we refinish it in 8 or 10 years, we'll use a higher grade of urethane on the floor, which will hopefully prevent the marks and dings from showing.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by Darcy Best value for the price at $3 per sq ft. The quality is tops, the color and character: outstanding.
All other rooms in my residence were already 3/4" Bruce hardwood flooring. Although they are "Gunstock" color, this color was on sale so I took a chance. It turned out to complement the Gunstock beautifully and looks amazing.
My entire residence, except the bath, is now covered in this brand of flooring.

Rated 3 out of 5Â by Sheila Beautiful Floor, A Pain to Install
This is our first time putting down a hardwood floor ourselves, so there is a huge learning curve. However, I have to believe that had I chosen a more expensive higher quality floor, the strips would not be so warped and bowed and hard to put down. My husband sometimes pulls the board together with a hammer using all of his considerable might, while I hit the nail gun with the hammer that came with it. I hope that after that pull, the boards stay in place. That kind of action is common. I sort the boards and place them and then he nails them and we deal with the problems. I cannot believe the number of short boards, but in the end they might work best since the long boards are so warped. We are doing a room that is 13' x 25' and are almost half done. The last half will be under a wool rug and dining table, so we are saving much of the less attractive wood for that area. I chose this wood because I thought the color the best match to adjoining rooms that have 25 year old oak floors. After starting I could see that the color match was not at all what I thought and I wished I had chosen a higher quality product, mainly because of the labor involved to get it down, I wish I had chosen a product with the more durable finish. Now I wonder if I will have to refinish it in 5 years. The bottom line is when it is down it looks great. IT is just the painful process of getting to that point. My advise is if you can afford better, buy better. IF not, suffer through the process of getting it down and be sure to buy extra for the waste that you will have.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by justjackie I love this flooring
I love everything about this flooring. The color is flawless. I like the variety in the planks. The look is superb. I am putting this in my new nursery. We were able to install this flooring in a couple of hours. The nail down method was used. LOVE IT. LOVE IT. LOVE IT. It also has a very nice shine to it. Most importantly, doesn't scratch! This wood is hard as diamonds.
