Rated 5 out of 5Â by slade quality product for a great price
i found these gas logs easy to install. the logs look real and they do come with a bag of ash to spread around for a more realistic look. i was happy to find out they also came with a gas line to hook them to my existing connector. they light first time every time so far and are very easy to light. best of all i love how they look in my fireplace and the price of the logs was great. i spent weeks looking for a good quality set of NG logs and i could not even come close to the price i bought these for.
i do wish the logs had better holding notches or pins. they stay in place as they are. it just would make me feel better if they did.

Rated 4 out of 5Â by John This is a nice product
This product is ok, the thing that it lacks is a thermostat to reduce the heat automatically. Pay attention to the words "Manual".

Rated 5 out of 5Â by Marsha2 Oakwood Vent Free NG
I ordered the Oakwood Vent Free gas logs expecting very little in appearance because of the low price. We were part of the 300,000 homes that lost power in the December ice storm and I was recovering from surgery. Gas logs sounded like the ideal solution. The logs arrived quickly and wow! was I surprised. Not only do the logs provide the heat I wanted but are also attractive and actually look like real logs. What was only going to be used in an emergency has become almost a daily usage and not having to open the chimney flu is an added bonus. I recommend this product to everyone on a limited budget who wants a beautiful fire burning in their home.
