I have had my 2 westek light switches for over 3 years or so and I love them. No maintenance needed, just set up and its all good. Simple to set up and use. Just make sure you don't choose multiple channel codes or when you go to use the switch you'll notice it working for more than 1 room at a time and unless you are looking to do that it can be annoying, especially when the person in the second room doesn't have the same sleeping schedule as you do.
Great for homes with no light switches and a home with table and/or floor lamps. This has worked great for my son's room and my room and now I am looking to get another switch for my baby's room.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by Robert Best Remote Switch Ever!
A quick and easy way to install a remote switch. Perfect for places where you can't or don't want to run wiring. I replaced a small, hard to find, push button switch on a led light fixture in a cabinet with this unit. the thin switch is mounted on the inside of the door and is convenient, easy for anyone to see and operate when the door is open. I'll install others around my home. I hope the "next generation" of this product offers dimmer capabilities.

Rated 4 out of 5Â by RobertS Simple to Install. Check Frequencies Before Buying
Simple to install. I use two transmitters (on the same frequency) to control the light in my garage from either the garage door or kitchen in the house, 40+ feet away. I have another system, on a different frequency for my living room, and after 18 months am still very pleased. Just one complaint: The switch I use several times a day to control the living room lights had its cover break. The rocker switch is held in by two thin plastic arms, and they broke just now, after 18 months. I'm trying to find a replacement for the switch cover without having to buy a new transmitter. For now, I am directly pushing the buttons on the circuit board to control the lights, and that works fine, but isn't finished or attractive looking. In all, I will buy again, and can recommend this to all my old friends. It is 'way cheaper than putting in wires. Be sure to get two sets for the same frequency if you want to use two switches to control one outlet, or to use one switch to control two outlets. Get different frequencies if you don't want one switch to control all outlets. I wish they sold transmitters (switches) and receivers (outlets) separately.

Rated 4 out of 5Â by tomy great product with many possible appications in old contruction projects
I just recently found this RKY100LC wireless switch & receiver product. I have used it in two old construction projects that saved me allot of time and additional material costs. My issues with this product is that you are limited to three frequencies and the lack of what I'm calling pig tails, like you have with ceiling fan remote receivers. I can think of many possible old construction projects IE. The emulation of two three way switches controlling one load without running traveler wiring between the switches.
