CUSTOMER REVIEWS

Rated 3 out of 5 by 132 reviewers.
Rated 1 out of 5 by Was not durable - The chain brake did not work. It took me a moment to understand what I was looking at. The brake was full on but the the chain was spinning like it normally would when the brake is off. - The pull cord broke after a day and a half as I started it up for the third time. The recoil mechanism can't readily be accessed or fixed. You'll also need a star headed wrench or screwdriver as well to remove the cover. - I could only set the chain saw down at idle for a few minutes before it would conk out. - My 2 yr old daughter said wow when I pulled it out of the box and she saw the pretty colors. Rated 4 out of 5 by good for the money It starts up a little tricky, you have to pull 8 times when is cold. take care chain is always tensioned, but if it goes it works nice for small trees. Is not heavy, so easy to handle. Do not know any about life span, just worked only 2 days with it. I think it is not for professional work, but very nice to make the trees smaller for the wood stove September 8, 2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by Can't go wrong especially for the price I bought this chainsaw as a general purpose item for cleaning up some dead trees and cutting down a tree from my yard. From cut down to clean up this little machine is great. I was using it for trimming and pruning all the clippings down as well and it handled it all perfectly. After about 2 hours it was getting warm but it still never stopped!! Highly recommended. April 25, 2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great buy for the price. Ok so i i bought this bad boy yesterday to use on a fallen tree in our yard cuz a tree service wanted $700 and i was like oh heck no lol so decided to take care of the matter myself. Now it was a pretty large tree. Id say 75ft high and i did measure the roundness and it was 5ft around so yeah it was pretty big but this chainsaw ate through that wood like it was nothing. Very easy to use if you have common sense. So for $110 this thing got the job done for me in just 5hrs of work. A must have for first time buyers if you dont want to spend $500 on a chainsaw. Rated 5 out of 5 by EXCELLENT Lets talk...I've been using saws for almost 30yrs. I have 2 professional saws, a $600 Stihl,, and a $500 Efco. Both are great saws, but both are BIG saws for felling timber. I wanted a small light saw for limbs, cleanup and light duty work, and I purchased this saw despite the reviews. One review said "I didn't know I would have to learn chainsaw maintenance 101". Others said saw won't start, chain jumps off...This is the best bang for the buck you can get. ALL saws need maintenance! Steel chains stretch and need adjustment. When it says mix this with 2 1/2gal of fuel, that's what is means. STIHL HOW TO series on you tube will help, or just read the owners manual! Don't be sceered, this is a GREAT saw for the money, PERIOD! Started well, runs great, bar and chain, well above average. Over 60Hrs of hard service, No problems at all. Did adjust the chain a couple of times. READ THE OWNERS MANUAL, IT EXPLAINS SAFE OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE PROCEDURES! September 8, 2013
