Rated 5 out of 5Â by DavetheEngineer works to control many lights!
I have six incandescent lamps on my back porch. I wanted the Dualbrite feature so that they would give a nice glow after dusk and give my backyard added security with the motion sensor.
I installed the unit in a conduit box with a single 1/2 NPT hole cover. This attached to the power wires going to the lights, upstream of the switch (that is contrary to the instructions, BTW)
At first I was pulling my hair out because the Dualbrite didn't work and the lights would never shut off. But I learned that they only work right if turned on during the day! Otherwise the logic goes into an endless loop.
So... Power up the unit only during the day, and it works beautifully.

The motion sensor work as advertised and allowed me to repair my security light rather than having to replace the entire unit.

Rated 2 out of 5Â by Lodo It's junk, but cheap.
First one lasted a year, next one 6 months. Died after a rain storm. 10 year warranty my foot. I like that it has the dual-bright feature and it's cheap, otherwise I'd spend a few more dollars and get something that lasts.

Rated 1 out of 5Â by RAAK 3rd replacement of same switch --this one was bad right out of the box. Don't buy!
Don't buy! I have four outdoor security lights. I have replaced these Heath Zenith DualBrite motion sensors three times, possibly more. I've actually lost track of the number times I've climbed up the ladder. I won't buy another. They're junk. I get two years out of them --at most. The latest unit was bad right out of the box, and never worked. It will be returned and I'll never buy another. Don't waste your money on Heath Zenith. ("Made in China", "Bronze", "DualBrite")

Rated 4 out of 5Â by beaver1 3 out of 4 worked well over 14 years
Installed 500W halogen lamp with this sensor on new house Oct. 1999. Worked well until Oct. 2011 (12 years).
Replaced both Oct. 2011. Operation was erratic for 7 days, then began working O.K.
Jan. 2014, wouldn't come on, so replaced sensor only. That sensor operated erratically right out of the box. Biggest problem was it would not turn off until dawn. After 14 days, returned unit to the store for an exchange.
New one was installed in 10 minutes, set switch to "5 Minutes", and has operated well without having to make any adjustments.
