Overall I am very happy the closet system. I just finished installing 2 in odd sized closets.
The directions were adequate however it does take a little figuring when you have closets that are not square or plum.
The other issue I have is that the screws are not labeled. They are neatly separated in little plastic bags but you have to do a little comparison of each in order to choose the correct size screw.
Installing the anchors into old plaster is a bit of a challenge as well. My process was (because some studs where not 16" on center) was to use a stud finder and when there was a stud I used an 1/8" bit for the pilot. If no stud was there I recommend a 3/8" bit for the anchor pilot. If you use a smaller pilot the anchor will tear up the plaster.
Installation would have been easier with 2 people. On challenge was mounting of the tower. Since it is suspended you have to hold it up & line it up to then attach to the brackets. This is not easy without another person.
One last thing, and a very important one. I would NOT try to install this without a powered screwdriver! Some places will definitely require a regular screwdriver but do yourself a favor use a battery operated drill/screwdriver. Be careful I broke 4 screws in this installation. They seem to be kinda cheap.
Again, I am very happy with the finished product. It just seemed that the installation (12 hrs for the first & 7 hrs for the second) was more difficult than in needed to be.

Rated 3 out of 5Â by Chris Almost returned the system.
The system itself is solid and good looking. BUT there are two reasons for not recommending others to purchase. First, the directions are difficult to follow. Secondly one of the holes for the bolt is off center. Home Depot called the company and they said other common complaints had been received and they mailed us "longer bolts" that would rectify the problem (we needed to pay additional postage on our end). They sent the same bolts. We returned to Home Depot and again they called and gave the measurement of the bolt that would rectify the problem (HD did not carry the bolt needed). Again the wrong bolt was sent. My husband had to become creative to get the system solidified to the wall. If so much time hadn't been vested in the project AND the product is heavy and difficult to repack, it would have been returned.
INSTEAD I give 5 stars to Home Depot staff for attempting to solve the problem.

Product is very nice and of good quality material. The instructions were a bit confusing, you need to spend some time mapping out and figuring out the configurations of your closet first. Some of the pictures in the instruction book didn't match the actual instructions. But overall it is nice, and great quality.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by randrfamily This product is beautiful
This closet product is beautiful, sturdy, well made. I love that it is solid wood, and also that if you need to adjust anything, you can cut the wood and it still looks great, I also love the slats so that air can circulate and the closet isn't stale. I also like the fact that you can arrange the shelves in different patterns that fit the actual size of the closet.

It took me a couple of weeks to get around to putting in the systems into the two master-bedroom closets. The first one was a bear - the directions didn't make sense to me until I was nearly done, but the second one was much easier, just time consuming. Make sure to measure, measure, measure... and use your level! I used a stud finder to help, so most of the back wall brackets were screwed into wood. Once I figured out what I was doing, the hardest part was cutting the rod to length - had to get some help with that one.
Once set up, this closet system is very sturdy. It is wood, so I don't recommend standing or sitting on the shelves, but for holding clothes, it's great. I like it much better than the wire systems, which is what I tore out.
The look of the system is quite nice as well. I went with the honey walnut and found the color to be pretty consistent, even between the two sets (shipped separately). The one closet (about 6' wide, 3' deep) uses the tower on the left, and two (upper/lower) bars on the right. The other closet (just over 8' wide, but 2' deep), I set up with a short dress-bar to the left, and two (upper/lower) bars to the right. There's quite a bit of room! After I got the closets installed, I went back and ordered two drawers from another vendor (10" and 6") so the overflow of ties and belts can be hidden away in his closet. I'll be using the little bit of extra shelf, and the extra bar in another tiny closet - plan well, and you can get more than you expected out of it.
