PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
The Kidde Hardwire Interconnectable Ionization Smoke Alarm with Battery Backup makes it easy to expand the protective coverage of your current interconnected system. A single 9-volt battery is all it takes to provide backup protection to you, your family and your home or business in the event of a power outage. The alarm uses wireless technology via a radio frequency to both transmit and receive messages about the presence of invisible fire particles, so when 1 smoke alarm sounds others also become activated.
- Uses ionization-sensing technology to recognize invisible fire particles
- Emits an early warning alarm upon the detection of fire or smoke
- Wireless technology uses radio frequency to communicate potential hazards
- When one alarm sounds, others will too
- 120 Volt AC
- Hush button silences a low-battery chirp for up to 12 hours
- Push and hold button to test the operation of the alarm and interconnected system
- 9-volt battery backup provides protection during power outages
