CUSTOMER REVIEWS

Rated 4.6 out of 5 by 49 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Product and would def recommend to others. The sound/heat barrier worked great in my 01 accord. I originally tore out the entire interior to give a deep clean and rid the car of a strange smell. While I had the car apart, thought it best to improve the sound deadening and heat inside the cab. Guys it worked great! The material seemed to be recycled denim and other clothe of some sort, and the aluminum backing was strong and durable. If you are uncertain how to apply (in a vehicle) make sure to glue the aluminum backing against the frame. The dimensions are accurate and you get more than what you pay for. Final thoughts, greatly reduced the road noise and reduce the heat in the cab substantially. Use scissors to cut. Good luck guys! April 16, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great insulation option! This product is easy to use, cuts easy, and seems to be working. I have a porch that was enclosed to create a laundry room. Unfortunately, when the work was done, they did not insulate the floor or the ceiling. I used that fluffy fiber stuff above the drop ceiling and it was difficult and annoying to work with. When looking for something to put under indoor-outdoor carpeting to insulate the floor I came across this product. I could not put insulation under the floor boards. I needed something I could put under carpeting that could be walked on and would insulate. This product fits the bill. The floor is still cool but not icy cold! This was so easy to work with that I wish I had known about it before I did the ceiling. January 15, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Worked great Replaced insulation under automotive carpet and it worked great. August 26, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Works for my use I bought these rolls to put on my windows. They dulled the street noise and I see no street lights. I have slept peacefully for a week. I cut them to fit window and stuck it on with max strength double sided tape. At least the garbage truck sounds like its 2 blocks away instead of in the bed with me. Btw... I live in NYC. Nothing but noise. May 27, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Worked for me and inexpensive It cuts with quality big scissors. I glued it to the inside of an aluminum shell enclosed utility trailer. The improvement controlling heat buildup was way better than I had hoped. Used 3M77 to glue the foil side to the aluminum roof with just spotty success; you have to get the coverage and wait time just right. Rolling a latex contact product that comes in a can (also Home Depot) worked a bit better. Test a small area and give it a couple days in the sun to prove out your technique. Maybe better to apply when the roof is cool, but then aluminum heat expansion may stress the bond. I did the gluing with a pretty hot roof. September 2, 2014
