I bought this ladder based on the idea that I only needed fourteen feet of length to accomplish what I wanted to do. I understand the need for overlap for security purposes, but you lose about two and a half feet. Fully extended it is about 13 feet. I should have put a tape on it at the store, but ASSUMED the label on the product would be correct, and we all seen the bad news bears. So now I am stuck with a 13 foot ladder that I painted and am unable to return.

Rated 4 out of 5Â by ChicagoGurl Lightweight and easy to operate
As a petite woman, I wanted a ladder that provided the height I needed to access my roof, yet was light enough that I could easily move/carry it. This ladder meets both needs. At 22 lbs., I can haul it all over the yard with no difficulty, and the light weight makes it very easy to extend and collapse without losing control of the ladder or getting fingers pinched.

Excellent ladder to reach the roof and complete a roof inspection and gutter repair job.

Good extension ladder but it can be unstable when leaning against a rough and uneven surface like stone siding. I also purchased an aluminum ladder stabilizer at Home depot to give it more stability.

I need an easy-to-maneuver extension ladder for light-duty work such as cleaning windows and painting trim. I have used this ladder on some uneven surfaces and among landscaping. The light weight and ease of extending and retracting make it perfect for my needs.
