Had this paint mixed in a pastel mint green, and was painting a room that had previously been painted a dark green color. We got the premium plus with primer so we would only have to use one coat...wrong! We still had to go back and do a second coat. We did better with the regular Behr paint using the same color over brown. The paint and primer in one is a waste of money if you still have to go back and second coat everything. I think next time I'll go back to Valspar. I seem to have better success with it.

I am very disgusted with the way this paint goes on the walls. I used eggshell and painted over light cream walls and it still needs another coat. I have bought cheap Walmart paint that goes on easier and looks better. I think this paint is horrible and wonder what the so called primer is suppose to do. I am starting over with a different brand and will never purchase Behr paint again.

Don't bother with this paint, the eggshell finish is much shinier than anticipated, leaves an inconsistent finish, doesn't cover well and runs easy. I've done a lot of painting over the years and this paint is has fallen to the bottom of my list. Try the Ralph Lauren eggshell paint instead, for about the same cost it leaves a really beautiful finish and Homedepot just brought it back.

I HAVE USED YOUR PAINTS BEFORE AND THOUGHT THEY WERE WONDERFUL. I PURCHASED YOUR ULTRA PAINT TO PAINT MY KITCHEN. WASHED THE WALL AS RECOMENDED AND STARTED PAINTING NEXT MORNING. I WENT OVER IT TWICE AND THE WHITE STILL SHINES THROUGH THE YELLOW. STAIN BLOCKER AND SELF-PRIMING? AFTER THREE COATS IT IS STILL NOT COVERING WELL. WILL NEVER USE BEHR PAINT AGAIN!

I bought this paint as recommended. I chose a light yellow to cover a painted off-white wall. Even purchasing the primer plus paint together - it took 3 - 4 coats to cover the wall thus taking twice as much paint AND time as expected and planned for. Even after 4 coats - there are areas where the paint dried splotchy. If I had the time and energy - I would go right out and buy another brand to repaint the walls the same color - but with a better paint that will dry clean and evenly!
