Rated 5 out of 5 by Works Fine I used this for securing pressure treated lumber to concrete blocks for a shed foundation. Easy to dispense, cured fairly quickly, so no complaints here. May 31, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Worked well for me. Would use again. My experience was quite different than that expressed in the other reviews. I have used PL375 for attaching a variety of flat metallic items to painted concrete walls and ceilings. It worked well. I put hooks on a wall to hang a heavy mirror. I brazed some standard picture-hanging hooks to a 2 in by 2 in square of stainless steel. I then used PL375 to attach the square to the wall. Because I did a poor job on the brazing the steel was not longer flat---rather it was a little curved and would not fit flush against the wall. I attached it and waited about a week. I then hung a 50 lb weight from the hook. It held just fine. I then hung a 40-lb mirror from two such hooks. (According to the specs for PL375 it should hold about 40 lb/sq in in shear. I did not test that as I don't know if the underlying paint or concrete will match that strength. I have at least a 2:1 safety factor---and probably quite a bit more. February 18, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by Junk! I am really really disappointed with this product from Loctite. This adhesive not only is messy to work with, it also doesn't dry quick and doesn't adhere like it should. I applied it between a pond liner and masonry pavers over 24+ hours ago, and the adhesive is still wet... go figure! DON'T BUY this product ... get the Loctite PL500C Landscape or the Loctite PL3X; both of these will dry quickly and will hold steadfast. I have had good experience with the PL500C and the PL3X. Rated 5 out of 5 by This product does what it says it can I've used high dollar, midrange caulkings that say they bond all kinds of things but don't ! This product I have used to bond and fix many things.Including shingles, plastic, wood, styrofoam to name a few.It has not failed me yet on any application.I continue to test it on different things. Rated 1 out of 5 by Terrible Adhesive - Never Cured I used this on a masonry product as directed and after more than a week the bricks had still not adhered. I was laying brick pavers on a concrete pad and adhered the outer layer with PL375. Both surfaces were dry and remained dry for a number of days. After a week I was able to lift up each paver with one hand and simply hose off the PL375 which never cured. I talked with Loctite about the application and they said this is something the product should have worked for. Don't waste your time with this, stick with Liquid Nails, which I used after I cleaned up this mess and it adhered perfectly. August 7, 2013
