This is the third in the same series of lights we have purchased and installed in our home to replace the contractor special brass lights. This chandelier compliments the 3 light entry hall light and the 2 light semi-flush mount light. If the rustic style is what you're looking for you can't beat the price for the style you're getting. We looked at fixtures costing 2,3 even 4 times this amount and didn't find better style and value.
Installation is best done with two people. We paired it with 60 watt bulbs and a dimmer switch to make it more versatile. If considering doing the same go with the Lutron C-L dimmer which handles single pole or 3-way switching, works with dimmable LEDs/CFLs, halogens and incandescents. This way you only have to buy one dimmer for any bulb you use!

Purchased for dining room, our ceilings are low so we do not have a hang to it. But still looks nice.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by Chris Nice simple chandelier, we just didn't like the color
The matte black tends to accumulate dust over time and we just didn't like the finish on it. It was hard to clean. We took it back down after 6 months used Rustoleum antique bronze spray paint to re-do the finish and it looks awesome now! The texture and the finish look great. It makes it look more "rich". And it is still a very dark color, not too brown. Also, I think it matches the amber glass shades better. It was an inexpensive way to make to make an upgrade to a fixture that we mostly liked without having to buy a new one.

Rated 3 out of 5Â by BlueJupiter Looks nice. Hangs crooked
This chandelier looks really great. Installing it was such a pain though. It takes a lot of adjusting to get it to not hang crooked. It appears others have had this same problem and it wasn't just a defect with mine. Also, the light receptacles were installed crooked from the factory so it takes some adjusting to get the globes to not sit crooked. If it was manufactured with 0% defects then this light would have installed in no time. It's a great looking light and for the price I was willing to work with it. Now it looks great....but if you bump it and it starts moving then you'll probably have to work with it so it doesn't sit crooked again.
