It's built around a powerful 15 AMP direct-box motor that resists slipping and bogging down, while requiring less maintenance than belt driven saws. The 10 in. blade and retractable guard system allows for 6-5/8 in. cuts in crown molding and 4-3/4 in. in baseboard. It will even provide 12 in. cross cuts at 90 degrees. The laser and linear ball-bearing design makes this sliding saw great for trimming and furniture making.
