Step up to century’s premium series of folding attic stairways. The affordably priced upgrade to the Windsor series, this best-grade wood model features wider stiles, treads and rough openings. It is engineered for heavier home use with a 350-lb. Load rating. The heavy-duty, zinc-plated side hinges and power arms and adjustable reinforced springs ensure that despite vigorous use, the function remains smooth, sure and dependable. It fits a rough opening of 25-1/2 in. x 54 in., ceiling heights between 8 ft. 9 in. – 10 ft. 3 in., uses a 70 in. Landing space and a minimum clearance-projection space of 80 in. Includes energy efficiency bundle: factory-installed bulb weather stripping, foam weather stripping along the metal hinge for a tight four-sided air seal. Thermo shield, insulation for the door panel and fireguard, a fire retardant door panel. This bundle eliminates air flow and has been third-party certified to reduce heat loss by about 50% .
