I have a 31" opening and bought a 30" door. I figured a half-inch on each side would be acceptable. However, the actual door is 29.5" wide, not the 30" reported in the specs. So there's a little more space than I would like. The door can't be centered in the slot because the bottom bracket doesn't allow for that much distance. I'm probably going to have to add more to the jamb and redo the trim, which is truly annoying.
The door itself is solid and went in easily. If not for the sizing issue, it would have been perfect.

Easy to install. I was able to use some of the parts from the doors that were replaced.

Purchased 2 sets of 30 in doors to fit in a 5 foot opening. Although the packaging looked the same, the doors and hardware were different. The front panels look the same, but the rear of one set is flat and the other is paneled. In addition, the tracks are completely different set ups. By the time I noticed this I had already unpacked and started my install so I was able to make them work by covering the tracks with a trim piece. I'll have to live with the doors being different on the reverse side. If it wasn't such a hassle to return them I would have. Quality is so-so but will be fine for the basement room I'm finishing. If you are concerned about fit/finish, I'd look elsewhere.

Rated 2 out of 5Â by Steve can not be trimmed at top or bottom
Was replacing one of 4 existing doors that had broken. Needed it 1/2 inch shorter - took 1/4 inch off top and bottom but after trimming the pins are not sturdy and the door sags when open. Will need to tear it apart and add real wood to the pin mount area

Note: Sometimes the hardware packages are not compatible.
I was replacing existing bi-fold doors. I intended to re-use the existing top track I had, if possible. I bought two sets of doors. Every number and UPC number on the two sets of doors were identical. When I opened the packages, the hardware packages included were different. One was compatible with my existing tract. The other one was not. The Home Depot guys gave me a package of hardware that matched my existing hardware, so I was able to use my existing track.
If you need to use two sets of doors to span a 60-inch opening, be aware that there's no way to tell if the hardware packages included in the doors will be compatible with each other until you've opened the packages.
