PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
This beautiful and unique maple exhibits outstanding burgundy red new foliage. Mature foliage is a dark purplish green with the leaf backs displaying a silvery white color. Trees mature with a dense, broad, upright, oval shaped crown reaching heights of up to 50 ft. with a spread of 40 ft. Fall color is distinctive with older leaves turning yellow while the younger leaves change to orange or purple. Summer Red Maple is adaptable to a wide range of soil and climatic conditions. This item ships bare-root which means it is dormant, with no leaves, no soil, and the roots are exposed.
