Rated 4 out of 5Â by JBug42 The overall appearance of the lights is exactly what we were looking for...a look that is simple yet classy. We also wanted a security light that not only came on when it sensed movement but were able to use it as accent lighting as well. That's why the DualBrite feature is ideal for us and surprisingly difficult to find in many lights. However, there is a reason for the 4-star rating. If it is necessary to adjust the sensitivity of the "eye", you have to remove the entire light from wall (not wiring), there's no knob or switch exposed on the front. Not an overly difficult thing to do, but it would be nice to have that ability since it's impossible to know what setting you actually need at the time of installation. Aside from our minor dissappointment, we are happy with our lights and have received many nice comments about them. We would definitely recommend them to anyone.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by megapixels Wonderful!
I ordered the lights on-line, and they arrived promptly (they were out of stock in the local store). The two-level lighting works as stated. I should mention that I had the lights (6 in total) installed by a professional electrician, but it didn't look very difficult. I had the motion-detection set to the middle of the range, which works fine for me. It's easy to replace the light bulbs, since the light fixture is open at the bottom and you simply install the bulb from below. My previous lights were the "carriage style" made, I think, by Hampton Bay, and replacing bulbs was difficult because the "roof" of the fixture had to be removed (and this, no doubt, also led to leaks during rainstorms, with subsequent rusting of the light socket).

According to the Heath-Zenith web site online assistantance for "lights work intermittently", both DualBrite or BulbSaver fixtures are NOT designed for use with CFL or even energy-saver bulbs (and probably LED). Only standard full-wattage incadescents.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by Mary Great Gift for a Senior Citizen's home
I bought this to upgrade the failing porch light on my dad's home. Light functions as described and has some configurability. He is very pleased with it's looks and functionality, and the security of a nightlight that goes bright at motion was a hit with him. To test it (during daylight) we blocked the sensors - very easy test, very easy install.
