I have been using this garage for six years now. The frame is very sturdy but be sure to anchor it to the ground. The tarp however leaves something to be desired. I am on my third tarp and that one just tore from front to back today. The replacement tarps go for around $250. They deteriorate from the sun and tear at the ribs and there is nothing to prevent it. I tarped the frame tight to keep the frame from moving and it lasted two years. The next tarp I hung loose and covered ribs with rubber sheeting and lasted two years. The last tarp I hung with foam pipe insulation on all the ribs and it lasted two years. this summer I was going to lathe the frame and sheet it with metal siding but today the whole top left side tore open and is laying over the side of the garage. P.S. I live in Pennsylvania and this garage is subject to the snow. I also live on a hill so it gets moderate winds and average sunlight.
So in short, the frame is excellent and should last forever. The tarp, in my experience, will last two years only. I still consider this a value at $125 a years to protect my projects.

Rated 4 out of 5Â by Anonymous Great Product!
I am very happy with the Garage-In-A-Box overall. They are a great alternative to a permanent structure and have no problem withstanding the weight of many inches of snow! If weighted down properly, the wind isn't a problem either. My full size crew cab truck fits perfectly as does my wife's full size SUV, both with lots of room on each side to easily enter/exit the vehicles. The assembly is pretty simple once the parts are sorted as the manufacturer does not make any attempt to separate the different sized bolts or bars. Also, be sure to shop around. I purchased two of these online with Home Depot and a couple days later found them at another store for $130 less. Home Depot would not price match since I purchased them from their website rather than in their store. Go figure! However, I would purchase these again, even if Home Depot was my only option.

Rated 1 out of 5Â by AnnoyedinNC Waste of Money!!!
I am not pleased with Shelter Logic products - this product does not come with a warranty, but be warned - the tents that do ONLY cover the frame - which is not what fails, but the covers themselves. We have had this tent for less than a year, and it is literally deteriorating! My father had also bought a Shelter Logic tent a couple of years back, and when the cover ripped (all the way down the center) they would not replace it! Ours has developed a bunch of holes and ripped where the tarp is anchored to the frame from - get this - WIND! We don't get a lot of inclimate weather in this part of NC, so to see this tent fall apart in the short time that it's been assembled is ridiculous. Save your money and DO NOT purchase products from this company!!! By the way - the price of this tent has gone up over $80.00 since we purchased it.

Rated 1 out of 5Â by leatherneckpa Will never buy ShelterLogic again!
I'd rate them lower, but there is no ZERO rating. Bought one two years ago. Hate the fact that the top and walls are all one piece, which is very expensive to replace. Cover ripped over every support pole at the vertical corners during second winter. Tried tarp repair tape, which failed. Cover shredded and fell in on my Harley and lawn tractor. Due to extremely limited availability and sale price I figured I'd give them a second chance. NEVER AGAIN! While tightening final bolts my wife looks up and yells, "There's a hole in it." We started looking and actually there were three 1" tears in the top, and several pin-hole type holes. Called ShelterLogic's customer service, but hung up after 20 minutes on hold. Filled out their online form 8 hours ago (1pm) and haven't even received an acknowledgement from them. Do yourself a favor, don't throw your money away on ShelterLogic. Find some place to buy a King Canopy, separate walls and top mean you only have to replace one piece if it fails. But my neighbor's King Canopies have lasted at least five years each. Guess what I am buying in the spring.

Rated 2 out of 5Â by Jesse Would have been great if all the hardware was in the box.
The garage itself is really nice and of good quality. My only gripe is that 1 of the main brackets for the frame was missing from the box. Very frustrating to get a good product but have it spoiled simply because they didn't take the time to ensure all the hardware was in the box. If it had been I would have rated the product much higher.......too bad:(
