We looked everywhere at these play structures, at least locally in Victoria. This was the best one for the money. The 4X4 posts make it look and feel alot sturdier than all the others out there that use 2X4 supports.
It went up quite easily, I did most of it myself over the course of a day.
A few negatives:
Instructions were lacking in the few areas I would have liked to see extra detail, resulting in some online searches and a bit of guessing;
The instructions claim it comes with no slide, then gives instructions on how to install a different slide alltogether, our slide is not currently attached as I need to determine a way to get it flush and have the bolts all match up;
The lumber included it quite stained and covered in stamps/printing. It will require a good deal of sanding before I will stain it.
All in all a good piece, the kids will love it, and there isn't much out there short of building from scratch.

Very solid play set. It took me by myself 18 hours to complete including staining. Best set for the money out there.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by MomInWpg Great play set
We spent most of the winter researching play structures for our son and were disappointed at some of the on-line reviews, disheartened by the quality of the lumber used in other sets, and discouraged by the high prices. We were beginning to lose hope that we would be able to find a set we liked and had actually decided to try to build our own. We literally stumbled across this one when roaming through Home Depot one day and it was like the planets aligned. Decent price, quality, full-sized lumber and we got to select our own 4x4's. Perhaps a downside to some, but we were really concerned about ensuring the lumber we used wasn't warped or otherwise inadequate. The instructions claimed we could 'build and play in one day' and they were right. It took three people and two drills to set up the structure, but we got it done in about 9 hours (one hour more than the instructions claimed, but still really good). The rapid-loc bracket system was brilliant, the lumber was really good quality, as were the component pieces, and the instructions relatively straight-forward. The worst part was digging the holes for the monkey bars - we'd recommend getting a post-holer to aid that particular process. The set looks amazing in our backyard and our son can't get enough of it. Definitely lived up to its claims and we would certainly recommend it.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by UrbanDweller Nice set for a small yard!
We purchased this set for our small yard after looking at numerous other stores. This set appeared to be the best quality and best value. Other big box stores offered sets with 2x4's - this set is far sturdier.
We purchased this on a Monday. We were able to fit the box and additional 4x4's in our Honda CRV. Took it home and spent the next couple days organizing the wood and screws. Measured all the wood and wrote lengths on it, and marked all the bags of screws with their length. This would save time later. There are a LOT of little parts to deal with. I also stained all the pieces. I found the wood to be in nice condition. No significantly warped or damaged pieces. The swings and hardware are also very good quality, heavy and substantial.
The hardest part (so far) was constructing the main tower feature. The brackets were in good shape but would shift when you screwed them together, making the whole thing not level or plumb. We were quite worried that the whole thing would be off if it wasn't perfectly level and plumb, but it turns out it didn't matter so much. My husband spent a solid 8 hours working on this and still hadn't added the slide or climbing wall. He said it was hard work, but there were no real "problems". He's a novice with such things, and said the instructions were good, although sometimes he wished for more explanation (i.e. they would show a picture of three screws but not actually state "put the strews here." We kind of had to guess where the climbing wall attached because the picture wasn't detailed enough).
A word on the space needed. We have a small city yard. We had a 25 x 16 ft. area to place this set, far less than the 28x26 required. The actual footprint of the set is 15x15, or 10x15 without the monkey bars. The set fit just fine on our yard, however we made a couple adjustments (thereby voiding our warranty- fyi). We switched the swings to the other side with no issues. We haven't put up the monkey bars, and aren't in a hurry to do so because our son probably won't use them. We have barely enough room for them as-is and I can see why other reviewers say they are hard to put up. The manufacturer warns that the set requires the monkey bars for stability. I do believe that the set is extremely sturdy, even without the bars.
We will probably add a second coat of stain to really make it look sharp. We're very happy and anticipate all the kids in the neighborhood flocking to our backyard this summer.

This was one of the greatest investments I bought for my family. My daughters' love it and it is very sturdy. After I sanded it and water treated it, I believe that it is going to last a long time. It did take two people both weekend days to put it together. Dedicate at least 12 hours to it and if you don't have completely level ground I found that patio blocks work great before anchoring it. The best thing is is that I can build onto it if I want and expand my daughters' play area.
