The flange that holds the blade on is bored to large. Thus you can't perfectly center the blade, this causes bouncing when cutting hard materials. Things only have to be slightly off center when a tool is turning at 11k rpm. I have bought Milwaukee tools all my life, drills, sawzalls, if Milwaukee built it i owned it. But this tool is simply unacceptable.
I own over 20 grinders but these two see almost no use due to this fault. People that know grinders and use cutting wheels as much as i do know the difference between a good tool and a poor one, and this is a poor one.

We're in the process of cutting down some old steel shipping carts to repurpose for our kids' marching band. My old grinder died on the job while using a cutting wheel. I've got a friend who swears by Milwaukee so I bought this grinder to replace mine.
This is one solid piece of equipment. The handle is small enough to hold comfortably and not tire out too quickly. The 7 amp motor has all the power you'd ever need and I was unable to bog this down. I especially like the toolless adjustable guard. Once it's on it's really easy to move around to accommodate the cutting angle.
Again, one great, solid, comfortable tool to use. Would recommend to anyone.

I bought this grinder to use on a trailer rebuilding project and to use on various other things as they come up. I used it for everything from cutting welds and steel to cleaning up welds and grinding/sanding my 16' lowboy trailer. After using it for several hours on end in 100* weather 3 days in a row, I never once had a single issue with it overheating and it NEVER missed a beat.
The 7.5 amp motor has plenty of power and the tool free adjustable guard makes it VERY easy to move it in no time as you need. I also bought a cheap $9 Husky tool bag to keep it in along with my assortment of wheels.
Without a doubt, if you need a grinder for occasional use and projects, you really can't beat this grinder for only $60 and not to mention the 5 year warranty from Milwaukee - Nobody else has that kind of a backing!
Short story long... GREAT grinder!

I originally had an angle grinder made by the company which is most recognizable by their signature aqua blue colored products the angle grinder was a 7.5 amp 4.5" angle grinder which was awesome, but when it came time to get a new grinder I decided to go with Milwaukee. First impressions of this angle grinder were that the guard design is very stout and easy to move about (even with bulky welding gloves), the design of the spanner wrench is a big plus (I never fear about busting my knuckles on the guard), and the weight of the tool is very light. While using the grinder I did notice that it wasn't always easy to turn on with welding gloves on, but honestly... welding gloves are for welding and not for grinding or cutting so I cannot complain too much. The grinder itself is well balanced, easy to control, and seems to effortlessly power through any obstacle. I utilize this tool most often in automotive applications and it has never left me hanging. I highly recommend this grinder to anyone looking for a good and sturdy grinder.

This is my second "Milwaukee" product, and I am pleased once again. Plenty of value for my dollars, and I am anticipating years of good service in so many ways. Thank you also for your staff's recommendation that this item would aptly suit my requirements.
