PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

This Merola Tile Riverstone Black 12 in. x 12 in. Natural Stone Mosaic Floor and Wall Tile features smooth, polished stones with a random pattern as from a river bed. The mosaic is a great design accent to add character to other field tile installations, or for a complete design over a bathroom wall or kitchen backsplash. The low-maintenance aspect of the stone makes it ideal for a variety of interior floor or wall applications. As the stones are impervious to water and frost resistant, the mosaic can also be used as a focal point to help define outdoor spaces like patios or terraces.


  • Grade 1, natural stone tile for floor and wall use
  • 12 in. long x 12 in. wide x 1/2 in. thick mesh-mounted mosaic
  • Unglazed smooth finish with a medium sheen and a moderate variation in tone
  • P.E.I. Rating I is suitable for light-duty residential floors, bathrooms and bedrooms without direct access from outside; no scratching dirt can be present
  • Impervious tile has water absorption of less than 0.5% for indoor or outdoor use and is frost proof
  • Slip-resistance/Coefficient of Friction rating of .50 wet is marginally skid resistant for indoor use and is recommended for standard residential applications
  • Frost resistant for indoor or outdoor applications; use a latex-modified thinset
  • Suitable for residential use
