The quality and sharpness of the blades far outweighs the strength of the plastic handles. There seems to be a lack of balance in the engineering. With a full tang through the handle, these shears would be far stronger. I cracked the handle to bits under hand pressure while trimming lightweight bamboo blinds.

I bought the large pair and was very happy with the performance of the scissors with materials like med gauge copper wire, aluminum cans, carpet and plant material. They held up great, until the handle broke while I was cutting a 1/2" juvenile Fan Palm. The blades preformed great, but the plastic handle broke. The handle isn't equally as strong and sturdy as the blades. I didn't use the scissor daily, but occasional. Great for light duty tool, and household use that are too difficult or will ruin other scissors.

After one and a half years after purchase the internal spring broke in the shears. I called Husky and they replaced the whole new set of scissors. All I needed was a replacement spring. I was given a $15 gift card to cover the cost of product, shipping and tax. I chose to have it shipped to the store, so received free shipping.. I still had some credit left on the gift card which I used for another purchase.at Home Depot. Husky does carry a life time guarantee, but this was way beyond what I expected. I would have settled for a couple of new springs.

Bought these before, and they lasted a long time. Used for some pretty heavy-duty projects, and they withstood the abuse well. When a couple of them finally dulled, I bought again, because they had served me well.

Rated 1 out of 5Â by April Handles are cheap & break easily
I bought a set of the Husky Titanium Scissors and with the first use of the large pair, I was cutting a small Vinyl piece of wainscotting and the bottom handle broke in two places rending the scissors completely useless. I don't understand why the manufacturer would make such a durable blade and put a flimsy plastic handle on it. I'm very, very disappointed.
