PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
The Milescraft Strike Plate Mortising Kit for Routers is ideal for routing matching mortises for strike- and latch plates, allowing you to accurately hang a new or replacement door with a minimum of extra work. It features an easy drop-in template design and contains clearly marked templates to mortise strike plates for 1-3/4 in. and 1-3/8 in. thick doors.
- Works with most routers
- For professional-quality mortising of strike- and latch plates
- Sturdy steel template frame with door thickness selector
- Durable tungsten carbide-tipped router bit with ball bearing eliminates the need for guide bushings on your router
- Easy-to-use, clearly marked drop-in template design
- Centered tape-measure tabs and easy measuring guide ensure precise installation of door hardware
- Templates store in a re-usable package between uses
- Set includes an adjustable template frame and templates for mortising standard-size strike- and latch plates in 1-3/4 in. and 1-3/8 in. thick doors
