I'm repainting a room that had extensive moisture damage, and required a lot of repairing and mudding. I needed a paint that would give me smooth even coverage, and be durable. I choose the satin finish and tinted it to a color called "Misty Summer Day". I was painting it over a coat of Zinzer that I probably should have tinted, because the first coat of the top color was streaky and looked very chartreuse. I was worried about the final look, but put on a second coat and it all evened out beautifully. I did need to touch up a few areas where the paint was too thin. This is probably more to do with my technique and the uneven walls than the paint. Over all I'm very happy with the results, and happy to have my bedroom looking better than before. One can gave me enough paint to apply 2 coats to an 8x10 room, with enough left over for touch ups.

Rated 4 out of 5Â by glasswench first time user, quite pleased
I've been a loyal user of HDs #1 brand for 20 years. the last 3 projects that i used #1 on, i was super disappointed, poor coverage. with this latest project I thought i would try a new brand. I didn't expect much, but am quite pleasantly surprised. Had a dark khaki wall that I covered with a single coat of kilz primer, two years ago. finally got around to putting Sea Glass Green on it. A couple other reviews remark on the thinness of the glidden paint, but I didn't find that to be true at all. perhaps it is a depth of pigment issue. My wall is medium textured, and i was able to get by with a single coat of the Glidden (with the other it would have taken 2 roller coats, with hand touch ups in areas), with hand touch ups in a couple areas that had deeper dimples, or a divot. virtually zero smell, which i didn't even realized until I painted another wall yesterday with year old #1 paint that had a very strong smell.
So. I am very happy with this brand and type, and will continue to use it.

I bought this to paint several interior rooms and a door. The wall paint required at least two re-coats. The door at least 6 and it is still not fully covered. I cannot emphasize enough to spend more money and get Behr or Valspar. I should have just stopped but was too cheap to throw away paint. Dumb please do not be as stupid as me....

Rated 5 out of 5Â by LosRubios Great paint with good consistent coverage
We used a gallon of this paint to spray the interior walls as part of a garage remodel. We used our 1 HP airless paint sprayer and the paint was very easy to use. We got good coverage with no uneven 'shading' where the coverage wasn't consistent and the paint didn't clog up the spray tip. Clean up was straightforward using water to clean out the spray gun and hose. Very satisfied with the end result and would recommend the Glidden Premium products as it is our first time using something from Glidden instead of Home Depot's own brand.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by Jeda73 Still beautiful after 2 years
Being a first time user of Glidden, I can honestly say I am a huge fan. At first I was worried that the paint wasn't going to be able to cover the ugly salmon color of my living room and dining room walls, but I was amazed just how great Glidden covered the old paint. I used French Grey, which is such a beautiful color, it's more bluish than grey, and after 2 years the walls still look as if they were freshly painted. Glidden is a bit more expensive than other paints but its well worth the price, and the best part no strong odors!
