Rated 4 out of 5Â by TXRoger Solid shelves once they are assembled
I bought 4 sets of these shelves that measured 20' long
when put side by side.
Assembly was easy once you get the hang of it but you must look over every piece carefully to make sure they are not bent or damaged.
Thats where I ran into problems, there were 2 end pieces that were bent so badly that I could not use them so I had to hook the shelves together ( which you can do) and it worked out fine.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by nursewatkins Easy to assemble. Perfect height
Price was at or below comparable competitors. Went together quickly (15min) with only a rubber mallot. Surfaces were free of mars or scratches that would allow rust to form. The height allows me (5'3") to access everything w/o a stool. Makes the most of our 8' ceilings. The 7 ft units would make the top shelf unusable and unreachable for our garage. The 18" depth fits nicely between the wall and garage door track allowing maximum usable space in the garage.

Rated 4 out of 5Â by Duque Sturdy, Beware of Minor Defects
This shelving unit is VERY sturdy and just what I needed for my aquarium tanks.
The only problem is if the side braces have the slightest defect and are not perfectly straight, you will have a hard time fitting the connecting tabs into the brace. I wrestled with one for over an hour, before deciding to move the shelf down 3 inches.
Do NOT tap down and secure the shelves until you have all of your shelves in place. You'll need some flexibility to fit everything.

These shelves are poorly made; mine had multiple manufacturing defects with welds, bent posts and loss of finish. Fit is also an issue. If you don't have the experience and tools to correct for the lack of fit between the shelves and posts don't get these shelves. Assembly with two of us took an hour and we were lucky. The shelving insert is the cheapest particleboard -- we had to replace it with plywood and you will too.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by BlueOvalFan Easy to assemble, very sturdy
I needed a sturdy shelving unit for my somewhat narrow third garage stall. This fit the bill perfectly. It uses the same general components as the 24" x 72" Edsal units, only downsized. I have two of the large units in my main garage and the assembly process is the same. Use care to insure that the interlocking tabs and slots line up; not as straightforward as one might think, but once you figure it out, no big deal. Make sure you have a rubber mallet for primary assembly and possibly a step ladder for securing the screws/nuts for the shelf center stiffeners on top. Overall, these are much stronger than the less expensive alternatives.
