Great company...bad product. The pins got stuck on the first use and we had to get a locksmith to get it off the trailer. Tried bolt cutters, but the hardened steel wouldn't give.

Made too cheaply. That type of load is for high security use. Not built to that kind of standards.

I use these disc locks for two storage units at an indoor self-storage warehouse. I noticed about every tenth unit had a red disk lock and asked the manager about them. He said those were his overlocks for people who hadn't paid their bill. He told me that he could cut through ANY of the standard padlocks with large bolt cutters, but it took him 10 minutes with a high-speed diamond-blade rotary cutter to cut through the shank of the disk lock. So that's what I use. Quality of the lock mechanism could be smoother--I have to work the key quite a bit sometimes for the lock to open. Other than that, they're good.

This lock must live outside and it seems to be better protected from the elements than ordinary locks.
All locks work well when new. This works well after a lot of rain and damp.

Master Lock in years past meant real quality. This lock is not smooth, keys will not open without several minutes of "jiggling" the key. Graphite helped a little for a few days, then not at all. I would have returned these two locks if I had kept the packaging and receipt.
