The SharkBite 1/2 in. Brass PTC Polybutylene Conversion Coupling is the fastest and easiest way to connect Polybutylene pipe to PEX pipe. The coupling features push-to-fit connections to help you join combinations of copper, CTS CPVC and PEX tubing (not included) with ease.
- Dezincification-resistant brass body for durability
- Compatible with combinations of copper, CTS CPVC and PEX tubing (not included)
- Certified for underground applications, behind-the-wall applications and as a manufactured joint without access panels
- Push-to-fit connections offer ease of use
- 200 psi maximum working pressure
- 200-degree Fahrenheit maximum working temperature
- Design certified and listed to ASSE 1061 and NSF 117 specifications
- Meets UPC, IPC and cUPC requirements
- Can be rotated after assembly for easy installation in tight spaces
- Demount clip (not included) enables users to release the pipe from the fitting if a mistake is made
