Rated 2 out of 5 For wood these are great, but for metal, you'll be frustrated and disappointed.
I bought these bits to punch through a 16 gauge electrical panel. These things eventually ground their way through via friction. Took a Red Lithium Ion battery per hole, so 10-15 minutes worth of drilling and lots of cutting oil to keep it from over heating. So I was not very impressed with this at all for metal working. I'm going to buy the Greenlee set. The Lenox bits might be better too as I saw a demostration with a drill press that outlasted everything in it's class. I will have to give them a try. For wood these things are great, but not for metal. I might even buy a hydraulic knockout punch set. I really needed the ability to drill because I had to drill holes into 2 adjacent mounted electrical panels and run a nib through both of them.

Rated 1 out of 5Â by K2014 Quick release is a joke
Bought this set because of the quick release feature. Quick release doesn't release saw from mandrel, in fact, saw is currently so stuck after one use I will be returning the kit. I'm not even sure what the release feature does it doesn't release the pilot bit either.

The arbor is not straight and wobbles terribly. It's a wild ride during use, and leaves you with a bigger hole than you wanted. The case is nice. The quick release mechanism is intuitive and works well.

Instructions non-existent. Attaching holes to cam was trial-and error. Finally attached 1.5-inch hole blade but quik release never worked. Forget the "quick". Otherwise, you can cut holes if you have a good drill.
