I had been looking for a 3 ton floor jack for a while and this one fit the bill, all others like this start at $70 or more. I haven't experienced any problems with mine, including the issue others have had with the jack lowering on it's own, sure if you left it out over night it might come down some. Be sure too top off the jack oil before use (as I did). If you jack it all the way to the highest position the jack will begin to lower some, but this is a normal function to avoid damage to the unit. I like the threaded adjustment on the contact, it enables extra lift without shims! Great for servicing larger vehicles! The foot pump really isn't a necessary feature for this product, but it does allow for quick contact, though it makes a much better carrying handle!

Rated 3 out of 5Â by divermac ultimately gets the job done, but i'd keep looking if it was for regular use
i ordered this jack to do typical diy things to my 4Runner (oil changes, tire rotations, brakes, etc.) expecting to use it ~2-4 times/year on my 4Runner and double that for my wife's RAV4. although it pretty much works as you'd expect (foot pump is great for getting it the first 8" or so), it comes down a lot faster than my AC Delco one did. maybe i need to tighten the release screw tighter, but i used two hands and gave it a pretty good go each time. if it really does require more than that, it will at least be a pain to use as often as i'd like to - even using a separate tool that gives better torque would be more useful. if it shouldn't require any more effort then i guess i got a bad one. as it is, i have to move pretty quickly (within ~10-15 seconds) to get the jack stands in place before it drops 1-2" and i have to pump it back up again.
oh yeah, if you're wondering why i don't still use the AC Delco, its because that jack maxes out at 13", won't even touch the frame on the 4Runner - bought it for an Accord.

This jack save me at least $700 in repairs, it took me a weekend to repair my F150 replacement of the ball joints.
The only minor detail is that the handle is not friendly to use when you have to raise the vehicle in the center.

Rated 4 out of 5Â by BobP Jack works as advertised - Needs better user manual
Once I figured out how to use this jack, it performed well. The user manual leaves a lot to be desired. For instance, it tells you to let the jack down by turning the handle to the left, but it doesn't tell you that to do that, the handle needs to be removed from its normal position and placed onto the bolt below. I eventually figured this out, but it was frustrating.
It seems like a good jack, so I'm happy with it and its decent price.
