Rated 5 out of 5Â by Jackson272727227 Very Useful Great Vacuum
We use this vacuum daily in a commercial setting and it has proven worthy and worth the money. It works well and is easy to use and empty. The only thing is hoover doesn't mention that you need to get paper filter bags to protect the cloth filter and so it can be emptied easily. We ruined the first cloth bag because of this but now that we use the paper liners it works great.

Bought this from Quill. Â Arrived in the box. Â Went to put the floor tool on the wand. Â Doesn't connect. Â Video shows it just screws on. Â Well, not mine. Â No way to put it together. Â Owner's manual has two pages on how to plug it in but no instructions on the secret to putting tools together. Â Hoover is only open on weekdays so you can't get info on a Saturday. Â Sent it back. Â Don't bother. Â A joke.

Honestly I was a little scared to spend so much on a product with a lot of mixed reviews. But Im glad I went with it. Its a great product. Lacks in the instruction department but you dont have to be a genius to figure out how to take stuff apart and put it together. Bags for it are difficult to find though so I had to order off of amazon. But its a great product and does fantastic work!!!! Love it!

Rated 5 out of 5Â by VacUser Works as advertised.
I've used this vacuum daily for over a year and it works exactly as advertised. The only attachment I use is the wide brush head and it works great on both carpets and hardwood floors. The attachment did crack where it attaches to the hose but that was do to misuse and not the quality of the product. The cord is long and the bag is easy to empty. I've seen reviews here from people that are obviously using it incorrectly or for the wrong tasks so don't let that deter you. I use this in a theater and the shape of the hose is very convenient for reaching underneath chairs without bending over. If you have a lot of space to cover this vacuum is perfect and will cut down on your cleaning time.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by Budget Now On 3rd. Hoover c2401
First off. I had difficulty figuring out switching out floor attachments on first Hoover c2401. Once figured this out I was blown away by this machine. I purchased first one about 18 months ago. Second one 1 year ago, third one about four months ago, and will order another within two weeks. All machines still work great although I am also needing to order a few 14 inch floor brushes as we use these a lot. I own a small cleaning and janitorial company and can tell you that these machines (on average) will allow you to (vacuum/sweep) a floor around 3x-4x faster in a commercial setting than a non-backpack vacuum. They make cleaning of tile/rubber, concrete and wood floors 3 x to 4x as fast as regular sweeping as well.
On thick pile or super plush or shaggy carpet they will be totally worthless as they have no beater bar. We are in Florida so this thick "NORTHERNER" carpet is super rare for us to come across anyway. If you have a cleaning business, these will save you thousands per month in labor costs and they are virtually indestructible with even the most "challenged" or "destructive" individual using it. We give them the two floor attachments and throw away the rest to avoid employees dropping and then tripping over a circular attachments. I think this vacuum is by far the best commercial vacuum I've seen with by far the best warranty that covers commercial use (i.e. several thousand hours) per year of harsh use for two years. For consumers and household users though, I would still recommend a commercial rated push vacuum as this vacuum is really intended for cleaning companies.
