A little difficult for an 80 year old woman to put together all by herself but a younger person could co it in less than an hour. Wanted it to store towels, knickknacks on in my bathroom. Fits perfectly in a small space and really I not top heavy at all.

I bought this to go in a narrow space next to my bed; very hard to find narrow stuff. It went together very easily and feels very sturdy, all the pieces worked perfectly. I did need to use my own tool for the large hex screws as the one provided was cheap and rounded out quickly. And some of the wood buttons did not fit, but since I am putting it in the corner, I didn't need them all. The wood is all in excellent condition, and the finish is perfect. My husband likes it so much, I came onto the site today to order another one for the other side of the bed. Lovely! Also, was very well packaged and arrived in timely fashion.

I purchased this stand for my kitchen because of its slim structure. It is sturdy and easy to put together, I did it myself, middle aged female but mechanically enclined. The quality was better than I expected. I have a small kitchen and this stand fits in perfectly. Looks great also!

I really like the looks of the shelf, however, we had several pieces that were either broken or blemished. The manufacturer replaced the broken piece without a problem. My shelf is tucked away in a corner of the kitchen, home to cook books. It serves it's purpose, but I have to say I was a little disappointed in the quality.

To be honest this is not easy for One person to asemble.
I did it, so you can as I
am not able to assemble much.
Directions confused me as they say lay the
two sides flat ,and add center wood braces first. You do
this and falls off then the other so
no way. I stood the two sides up-
right on their side and braced them with a pillow or stool
to keep them upright. I added one brace, then a shelf
with its screw. Do NOT tighten screws much as you will
have to undo them all. I did this on one side then I rolled
it over did other side with screws. I am short so directions
say stand item totally up then add top no way. I added it
item is laying down. You can tighten screws some, but
wait till your totally done then tighten all. You know how
much as if one is not tighten enough you see a gap , and
also your tiny wooden cover knobs will not go in the
Do yourself a favor use a conforter
under it , and your knees a pillow.
To save time notice the shelf has a slide down angle on
one side edge of each square of wood. You need to be
sure all yours
face down or up or you have to redo all . Top is the same
so be aware of this. They can go either way but you want
them the same.
I purchased two shelves ,and thought second one I
could do faster, but my error I did it the same but having
both my shelf slopes ,i call the design ,should
matched I had one curio shelf slope facing down other up
gee . Lots work to redo if not they looked odd . Oh the
slats on the back be sure the back of each
wood shelf is flat, feel for it ,you see what I mean or some
on front will be so you have uneven look.
With care you can do it, but it will take time!
All in all once done I love them.
I put all my curio items on them including my antique
glass. They are steady and I feel secure they last for
I do plan on buying two more for picture albums or towels
in my bath.
Real wood they are worth the effort.
Arrived in good contition. Top shelf I turned to back has
one tiny , tiny dent but very minor. The tool is alful if you
can take the L wrench item to hardware buy one that size
with a descent handle it be worth it.
I chose honey oak and I will on my second set also.
They are sturdy ,and do hold a lot on each shelf.
I do Not look forward to my second assemble but I sure
plan to buy at least two more before prices go up
Last note. Each one has a metal bracket you can chose
to add to top if you wish to secure them against a wall
due to tiny children.
I have one each side my tv table against my wall so chose
to not add this feature.
There very pretty to me.
