Tool has been good overall, getting up in frames and not having to fight air hoses. Could have a little more power, but overall gets the job done in most cases.

I'm restoring my deck and I get into tight spots where I have trouble driving screws into the hidden fasteners I'm using. After considering a dedicated angle drill/driver I became aware of this accessory for my Ridgid Jobmax and I decided to make the purchase. Prior to this purchase I had never used an impact driver and always drove screws with a variable speed drill. But, that has all changed now that I've discovered how easy it is to drive screws with the impact driver head. I like the compact size of this driver head and I'm sure I will continue to find many other uses for this accessory.

The impact driver and its 90 degree head fit into many tight spaces and certainly spaces where a regular screwdriver or drill would not allow proper access. The impact feature drives screws better, faster and easier with less damage to screw heads.

I got this head to go on my Ryobi base. I needed an impact driver and I couldn't decide if i should get this or the Ryobi dedicated impact driver. I don't need all the power of an 18v impact driver and I liked that this would fit into tight spaces. My main concern was that while using this with the Ryobi base and battery it could be akwardly long and need 2 hands... I was wrong. The balance and function is GREAT. This can EASILY drive 3" drywall screws into pressure treated 4x4 with a normal one handed grip on my Ryobi. The only time i needed 2 hands was to drive a screw flush that had previously been so stripped i couldn't even remove it with a regular drill. This head can easily drill, drive, and fit into spaces my drill wouldn't stand a chance! Excellent product and addition to the Ryobi 18v system

This add-on accessory allows you to drive those screws, including metal framing screws, in those very tight spaces. Those tight spaces have been cutting the hands of construction people for years, since metal studs made it into the trades. Now we can use battery power that could only be driven by air in years past. Now the DIYer is on an equal footing.
