PRODUCT OVERVIEW

Model # 125309

Internet # 202456772

Enerflex, a highly reflective, double-sided, multilayered material, blocks up to 96% of radiant energy and can be installed in new and existing homes. It installs between rafters to the underside of a roof and on other vertical surfaces in an attic to reduce solar heat gain into the home. It also reduces heat transfer by thermal radiation across the air space between the roof and attic floor, keeping an attic up to 30 degrees cooler. In cool weather, Enerflex helps prevent radiant energy from leaving the home and reduces heat loss, which adds up to significant energy cost savings.

CUSTOMER REVIEWS

Rated 4.3 out of 5 by 9 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Works Great! I installed this directly under some v-crimp tin and what an unbelievable difference. Thats with no air space between them. I can imagine if you use it with air space under the straps. It would work even better and block more heat. Here in southern Louisiana it gets extremely hot and humid. If you ever been here in the summer you would know. I'm gonna use it under the metal roof that I plan on putting on my house and garage and for an extra $600 I will get it back in no time on utilities. Trust me it WORKS! July 17, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by Good Product I could already notice while installing it, the side of the attic with the Enerflex was cooler. It should keep the house cooler on those hot summer days. Installation would be easier if they made it about an inch wider. Getting it lined up on the rafters was a little frustrating. Also, if there were some dotted lines printed on it like they do with Christmas wrapping paper, cutting it straight would be easier. The material was tougher than I expected. I figured it would rip easily like aluminum foil. I can't wait until this winter to see how my heating bill is affected. August 21, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by Blocks heat but keeps in the value Installing this product was fairly easy and it was reasonably priced compared to other similar radiant barriers. While it is possible to install this by yourself, I imagine it would have been even easier if a second person held the sheeting in place while the first person operated the staple gun. I used this underneath a radiant in-floor heating system I recently installed and I immediately noticed the difference in floor temperature. It blocked much of the heat from dissipating into the crawl space. October 23, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Unbelievable Results I installed this on the bottoms of the rafters in an older wooden shop building. What a difference! Before we couldn't get the room to heat up no matter how hot a fire we had going in the wood stove. Now it's up to 70 within 30 minutes and that's when it is only 10 outside. Can't wait till summer to see how big a difference it makes when it's a 100 out. Very easy for two people to install. And it looks really cool too! January 24, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by easy to install if rafters are exposed radiant barrier blocks the heat, not an insulation replacement. this product comes with a metal grid inside making it easy to cut straight. stappled to the underdeck of my roof droped the temperature in the attic. easy installs quickly, August 6, 2011
