I read reviews for a month before finally deciding on this saw. I own a Ridgid metal chop saw that has performed flawlessly for 6 years cutting miles of pipe. This table saw was extremely heavy, which is good, but still mobile too!! Instructions for assembly were very clear and easy to understand. Took around 3 hours for total assembly. Of course I HAD to do the nickel test as soon as I got it together. It passed. Super quiet saw compared to other table saws I've used in the past. The lifetime warranty plays a major role in deciding which power tools to buy. Overall, this is an excellent saw and I would highly recommend it to anyone.

I bought the R4512 for a few reasons, first the life time warranty, then its ease of moving it around in my small basement shop. I have had it for 2 months now. its was easier to assemble then what every one had told me, was almost perfect for allining up did not have much to do. so far I have cut some big pieces of maple, oak, ash, cherry, pine and cedar. then I made some projects that I had to cut some small pieces, and some at different angles and all of them turned out perfect. I recommend this saw for any beginner or expert wood worker

I really like this saw., but it should come with the dust collection system. I am not happy at all with the wrenches that come with this unit. They are very cheaply made and wear out very fast. Overall, this machine was easy to set up and get aligned..

Just purchased and used for the first time. Easy set-up. low vibe saw. Converting to 220VAC makes the extension cord small and you don't have a lot of power loss. It is 13Amps at 120VAC but only 6.5 at 220 so a cord with 14 or 16 gauge is more than adequate. I store the saw in the garage and roll it out when I need it a 25f extension cord is perfect and with 220 VAC power only has to be 16 gauge. Nice. With 120 V I'd need a 10-12 gauge cord or would lose power.. The fence guide is not as smooth as it could be but with a bit of sweat to align it it works OK. Blade adjust is smooth. I wish it came with a dado insert. It is not hard to make your own but a saw of this capacity is a great tool for those cabinet dados. I also make butcher block cutting boards and this has plenty of power to cut through 8/4 maple. Over all I am happy with all my Rigid equipment and do recommend it to others. It does seem that Home depot is reducing many items from their stock though. Just try and find a spindle sander. Even this product was difficult to find in store. Is something going on?

I have used this saw a fair bit and have been very pleased. It is very smooth and cuts with a good ammount of power. I had to micro allign the fence to square it up. That was fairly difficult to do, but with a framing square, and some patience it has really paid off. The fence has stayed quite square.
